Another flash went through the sky. It didn't take too long before thunder followed.

Redd flinched, as he pulled the blanket over his head. "This is just great... Gonna be stuck in here while thunder is top of us." he murmured, as he peeked from under the blanket.

"Don't worry, we are safe inside." Tom told, taking folder from his shelf. He sat down to his chair with soft sigh.

The kitsune let out shriek when the doors opened. He covered his mouth with his hands. He looked over to doors- there was Nico, soaked to head to toe.
"I'm sorry, but is it okay to stay here to keep the rain?" the human asked.

"Of course, you should know by now you are always welcome to come here." Isabelle told as she got up. "I go get you towel and some dry clothes for you." she added.

Nico gave nod. "Thank you Isabelle, you are so kind."
"It is just part of my job to take care of every resident on this island, including you too." she told with smile. "But I will be back soon."

The kitsune tilted his head slightly. "Are ya goin' somewhere or why the fuck you were outside?" he asked.

"Oh, uh... I, I was just doing stuff around island," the human told, moving his wet hair from his freckled face. "But rain got too much, and I am not really a fan of thunder."

"That sounds shady." Redd snorted. "I like that."
"Yeah, I guess it does." Nico said with soft chuckle. "But what are you doing here? I think it's first time seeing you here."

"Oh, I am here because Nooksie wanted to go to walk, but then it start-" The kitsune sneezed. "Excuse me." he muttered taking tissue.

After he blew his nose, he tossed the tissue in the bin. "I was sayin', it started to rain so we needed to come here. And now I'm stuck here."

"That's rough." Nico said. He looked over to Isabelle, who handed towel and pair of cargo shorts and shirt to them. "Thank you." he nodded.

The shih tzu let out soft giggle. "It's no problem." she told. "Oh, and if you want, you can use our showers." she added.

"Uh... If it's really no problem that would be nice, yes." he nodded. "I'll just dry most of the water off first." they added.

After the human got themself dry enough not to drip the water all over the floor anymore, Isabelle lead him to showers. Afterwards she returned to her desk.

The kitsune flicked his tail. "Nookie-"
"No, you will be fine."
"But-"

"No. You now have to take no as an answer." Tom told, as he got up from his chair. He gave gentle pat top of Redd's head, before he went get more coffee.

"Oh, and I didn't know you can let out so high scream, are you okay?" he asked, as he gave stir to his coffee.

"It wasn't that high." Redd huffed, as he snuggled deeper in the blanket. He flinched when thunder roared outside.

"Looks like we are getting huge storm too, hopefully it calms down by tomorrow." Isabelle sighed softly, as she looked outside of her window.

"Hm... Yes, but weather forcast promised tomorrow's weather to be great," Tom sighed. He sat down to his chair. "Although, this storm wasn't promised either."

"Yeah, because if it was, I would not be here in any price. And now I'm here for free." the kitsune hissed quietly.

Isabelle gave side glance to Redd, before she looked over to Tom. He only shook his head slightly.

The break room door opened, and Nico stepped out of it, towel wrapped around his hair. They put his glasses on.

"Thank you Isabelle, and Tom." they said, giving slight smile. "And I am really sorry to be here so long, maybe when storm calms down, I should leave."

"Don't worry, it's fine." Isabelle hummed. "Would you like tea, or coffee?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

The human shook his head slightly. "No, I'm fine, thank you." he said, as they walked behind the counter. He sat down to chair, taking his phone from their pocket.

Tom twitched his ears. "I have to call to boys, I'll be back in second." he said as he got up, taking his phone with him.

The kitsune watched as the door closed behind the tanuki. He lowered his ears as the thunder followed the lighting.
