"Babe..." I open my eyes to find Hero standing over me with our crying baby girl in his arms. "I got up with her to let you sleep but shes hungry."

I sit up and wipe my eyes before getting up and taking her out of his arms. I try to sooth her as I carry her into her room, to sit in the rocking chair but shes too upset, wanting to eat. Hero watches silently as I get her situated and finally she calms down as she feeds and I smile at him. He smiles back and moves in front of us, squatting down so he can rub his fingers over her hair.

"We really need to think of a name for her." I whisper to him. Its been two days since we left the hospital and so far we are still calling her Baby J. We have thought of a name starting with J, like Jocelyn or the name of the lake where we fell in love, Berkeley but so far nothing was sticking because we had been calling her Baby J for so long.

"I like both that we narrowed it down to, just depends if we want to keep her name starting with a J or not." He says. "Maybe Berkeley Josephine Fiennes- Tiffin?"

"No Langford in there huh?" I ask.

"Why would there be? Thats not going to be your last name for very much longer anyway." He tells me, taking me by surprise.

Baby J unlatches and starts squirming around, letting me know I need to burp her and ruining the moment.

Before she came I was worried I wouldn't know what to do with her or how to take care of her but so far my natural instincts have taken over and things have went smoothly. Hero is a natural with her too, even though he hasn't been around many babies, like me. I know he feels bad all the feeding duties fall on me but he has been getting up with me and keeping me company during the night feedings but i wouldn't blame him if he didn't.

She falls asleep after I burp her so I place her gently on her changing table and Hero helps me as I undue her pajamas and change her, trying not to wake her up. She squirms a little bit, starting to cry when we finish so I wrap her up and Hero takes her in his arms, soothing her until she falls back asleep.

We go back to our room and I use the bathroom as Hero attempts putting her in her bassinet without waking her up. Once I'm finished I find Hero in bed already fast asleep and I check on Baby J, seeing she is snoozing away as well before getting in bed, knowing we have maybe two hours before we are up doing it all again.
