Before we knew it, filming was done. Not only were we leaving  the place we had lived for months we were now saying goodbye to the characters we had played for three years now. To the job that brought us together, made us fall in love.

It was crazy to think, if Anna wouldn't have been unhappy with the first "Tessa" they had casted and she hadn't looked through more casting videos to replace her, I never would have met Hero.

Funny how life works. How fate puts two people together, one way or another. Now three years later we were saying goodbye to one chapter to our life but also saying hello to a new one. One where we would be welcoming our first child together, our baby girl and creating a family.

The last day of filming I was a mess. I knew there was  a possibility we may be doing more movies in the future if the series expanded and did well, especially where Anna was writing more books. But for now, it was over.

We agreed to make a wrap video and Hero took the lead, doing all of the talking because I was too emotional to speak. I didn't know if it was my pregnancy hormones or what but I stayed that way for the next day while packing my things and saying goodbye to all the crew as they left.

Today Hero was going back to London and I was staying for a couple more days. I was still undecided if I was going to LA or Perth but I had flights booked for both places the same day just hours apart.

"Look how much Baby J is moving." Hero says in awe as he rubs his hand over my moving belly. I sit up on my pillow and look down at him as he rests his head on my pelvis, smiling. We just finished making love for the last time before we parted and I wanted nothing more then to freeze time and stay in this moment forever.

"One of the books I read said babies are more active in the womb after sex."

"Hmmm. I think she just likes the sound of her dads voice." He teases, winking at me.

"I'm going to miss this." I blurt out unable to hold back the tears building in my eyes.

"Hey," He says sitting up and grabbing my face, placing his forehead against mine and rubbing his nose against my face. "Its only a couple of weeks, then I will never let you leave me again."

I nod my head my head and blow out a frustrated breath.

He pulls back when the alarm on his phone goes off and silences it. "My car will be here soon."

We get ready and I walk him to the elevator, knowing I can't go with him past there.

"I will face time you as soon as I get home. Please be safe, have security with you if you leave the hotel and protect our baby girl."

"I will." I croak.

He grabs my face and kisses me, "I love you Jo."

"I love you."

"Only a couple of weeks, promise me?"

"I promise."

I kiss him, nuzzling into him before we break apart and he enters the elevator. I keep a brave face until he does a small wave right as the elevator closes and I break down.  

After giving myself a headache from crying I take a nap and don't wake until the sun is down.  I order room service for dinner and try to call Hero when I realize he should have called me by now but there is no answer.  

I call his mom next but she hasn't seen him yet and reassures me she will call me when she does. 

I wash my face and fix my hair to kill time until my food arrives and by the time they finally knock I can't help but run to the door, needing to eat.  

My stomach drops when I open the door and the person on the other side isn't the server from the hotel but a somber looking Hero with bloodshot eyes.
