"She loves the water." Hero tells me laughing as he holds Baby J in the pool water as she kicks her chubby little legs in excitement. After working for a week straight it was finally my day off so we decided to use the hotel pool to introduce Baby J to swimming. She was way too little to understand what was going on but she seemed to love it anyway by the squeals she was making and the smile on her face.

It was crazy how much she had changed in the last couple weeks. She was growing and now had cute baby rolls on her arms and legs. Her belly was a bit rounder. Her hair was longer and lighter, not a white blonde but still a light blonde. Her eyes now looked more green then blue, like her dads. But overall she looked more like me.  Her personality was showing more and more everyday. I loved her baby babble and her sweet giggles. Heck I even loved when she cried to let me know she needed me.

I had always thought I would be married to my career. That it would always come first but after going back to work and missing out on times like these I realized my priorities changed. No, I wouldn't stop working or taking on projects but I was going to be more selective so I didn't need to break up my family for long periods of time. I knew with our line of work sometimes it would be impossible but we could work around it and together better.

Baby J starting to cry caught my attention, bringing me out of my thoughts as I watched them. "I think shes hungry," Hero says cradling her to his chest as she sucks on her hand. "Do you want to feed her here or go back to the room?"

"No one is here so it should be fine." I tell him getting out of the pool. He hands me the baby once I'm on the side and have my towel wrapped around me. I wrap her in her towel and try to calm her.

Once I sit down on the lounger and get situated she latches on immediately. Hero brings me over a extra towel so I cover her while she eats just in case someone comes in. He sits down behind me, wraps his arms around me, holding us and laying his head on my shoulder. Without words I can tell he feels the same way I do.
