The next day, after Hero gave me his blessing to take the job I woke up to the email giving me more details about the movie. Filming started later next month, around the LA area, which would have been fine if my team didn't surprise me with a new schedule for the promotion of our film coming out.
They were worried things would be delayed or shut down because of the covid so they changed around my schedule, moving some things up and wanting me to leave at the end of this week. Because it was so close to when my new film started filming I wound't be able to fly home in between.
Hero was very busy during this time as well and after comparing our schedules we knew he wouldn't be able to be with us in LA until our promotional jobs were together. That was if he was able to travel at that point.
I knew this upset him but he was doing his best to be supportive. Neither of us wanted to be apart and I defiantly did not want to keep him away from Baby J but we were contracted to do these things so it was out of our hands.
The week flew by and we spent as much time together as we could but it didn't feel like enough. The realization hit me that I wouldn't see him, wake up with him, and kiss him everyday for the first time in almost a year while I sat holding baby J alone while waiting for the plane to take off...
