We spent the next week breaking in our new home, going at it in any and every room. In between our love making we shopped for new furniture and decor, wanting to make our home perfect.

When we started looking a things for the babies room it made it harder and harder not to know what the gender was. While there was defiantly a lot of gender neutral things out there we could shop from it didn't feel like I knew what I wanted to buy until I had that clarification.

"We should go to your mums and pick up the envelope." I tell Hero as we take our daily walk through our new neighborhood.

"You don't want to have some kind of reveal?" He asks side eyeing me.

"I did. But I need to know now. We are leaving soon and I want to get some stuff ordered for their room."

"Okay we can go over after we shower and I have my zoom meeting with my team." He tells me quickening his pace and leading me towards the house.

I stayed in the shower enjoying the hot water on my body after Hero made love to me, washed us both and then had to leave for his meeting. I was more tired then normal today, so I don't bother getting ready while I waited for him to finish and instead just throw on a pair of leggings and one of his over sized t shirts, comb out my wet hair and leave it down to air dry.

By the time I finish Hero is ready and a cab is there within minutes taking us to his mums.

Even though it was a Sunday afternoon when Heros mum and sister would have normally been home the house was deadly quiet when he lets us in.

"Your mum isn't home?" I ask him.

"She is probably out back." He replies taking my hand and leading me to the back door.

I follow him out and stop when I look up and see some of his close friends and family with pink and blue balloons and decor all around.

I look around surprised and tears fill my eyes, knowing he must of just thrown this together for me today during his meeting.

"I'm sorry your parents and sister couldn't be here but I wanted us to have a fun gender reveal and celebrate before we have to leave."

"I love it." I tell him and kiss him before we great everyone.

"So what or how will we reveal the gender of the baby?" I ask Hero after we greet everyone.

"One of you is going to kick this ball, into that football goal." Heros best friend answers for him, holding a soccer ball and pointing to a metal goal against fence.

"You do it." I tell Hero excitedly.

He takes the ball and everyone moves out of the way as he positions himself across from the goal.

I feel his mum wrap her arm around me as we watch Hero excitedly. He teases us with two warm up kicks, smiling at me evily after each one.

"Hero!" I yell at him and just then he kicks the ball and it goes flying into the goal, pink powder and confetti exploding everywhere.

"ITS A GIRL!"
