"Hero? What are you doing, did something happen?"

"I don't think I can do it." He sighs, slurring his words. He walks past me, setting his backpack down before going over to the couch and sitting down.

"Wait, are you drunk?" I ask, ignoring what he said and shutting the door.

"No. Maybe buzzed. I had a few drinks at the airport. Trying to make it easier to leave."

Walking over to him, I kneel in front of him placing my hands on his knees. "Did you miss your flight because you were drunk?"

"No Jo." He answers annoyed before continuing, "I missed my flight because I didn't feel right leaving you. Or her. Both of you."

I squeeze his leg, loving how attached he is to the baby already. "It will only be for a couples weeks babe. You know I can't go back to London yet and I can't stay here."

"But why?" He pouts.

"You know why. I have commitments."

"So you are going to LA then?"

"I don't know Hero. Do I have a choice?" I push back annoyed that he thinks I am choosing to go there instead of to Perth to see my family or London with him.

"I just feel like, even though I know my family, friends and where I live is there, in London, I am not going home because you aren't there. Shes not there. Its making me anxious to be separated from her already."

"Oh so this is isn't about being separated from me, huh?" I tease.

Grabbing my hand, he guides me onto his lap. "You know I can barely handle it when we are apart but this is making me crazy."

"I know babe." I tell him kssing his neck. "But I don't know what to do in this situation."

"Wherever you go I go." He says determined.

"And what about travel restrictions? Flights? Spending Christmas with your family?"

He places his huge palm across my mouth silencing me and his other hand on my belly. "I am trying to spend Christmas with my family..."
