I pull my legs to my chest and wrap my arms around them as I watch Hero go crazy on the guy that was in bed with me. Male bodies are everywhere as his friends try to break up the fight but because of the darkness I can't really make out who is who or who the man is that was in bed with me, only Hero because of his size and his rage.

As soon as they get Hero off of the guy he makes his way back to him but the guy is just as quick fighting back and taking shots at him. Everyone is yelling but I just sit there, unable to make out what any of them are saying.

The fight moves out to the hall and one of his smaller roommates stays behind and turns on the light, looking for me.

"Aaare you okay?" He asks, adverting his eyes from me and acting nervous.

"Yeah, I am." I answer, confused as to why he is acting strange around me now when usually we are cool.

"Get the fuck out!" Hero roars to his roommate as he stomps into his room looking me over.

"Calm down man, I was just checking on her to make sure she was okay. I didn't look." His roommate says as he tries to pass Hero to leave.

Didn't look?

Before I can think too much into it Hero grabs him by his shirt and throws him out the door and slams it shut. I jump and look him over noticing the cuts on his knuckles.

Going to his closet he pulls out a pair of my sleep shorts and brings them over to me. Kneeling on my side of the bed he turns me to him and unwraps my arms from my legs, stretching them out and begins to put my shorts on me.

I look down and notice I am only in my panties and his t shirt and realize why his friend wouldn't look at me.

"I can dress myself." I tell him as I push him away from me, suddenly angry after coming out of my daze.

"Did he touch you?" He asks in a low voice, standing up.

"No he just scared me, I thought he was you. Who was it?"

"No one."

"What was he trying to do, Hero? Where were you?!" I shout already knowing the answer to both my questions and feeling stupid for asking them.

He ignores me and heads for the door again. "'I'll be back, I need to get all their fucking friends out of my house."

"Its their house too and this isn't their fault." I shout at his back as he tries to leave the room.

He turns around and stops, looking at me. I have never seen him this mad and out of control and I know I am not going to get through to him until he calms down.

"Their fucking friend that they invited over knew you were here and was trying to get to you!" He screams, his face reddening.

"Stop!"

"No! He could have hurt you! He could have hurt the baby! And you want me to be fine?"

"Why would you yell that so everyone can hear you?" I shout back at him, pissed he just announced it to everyone in his house we were having a baby.

He slams the door in my face leaving me alone. Furious because our secret is now out to whoever was in his house to spread, I go to his closet and pack a small overnight bag. Going into the bathroom I freshen up and collect my toiletries then pull up the car service app on my phone ordering a car.

As soon as I get the notification the car service is here I exit his bedroom, leaving behind a note on his bed letting him know where I am going. I quietly make my way through the house, trying to avoid running into anyone. I hear loud voices coming from his roommates bedroom so I bolt to the front door and make it out to the car service before anyone can stop me.

After giving the driver the name of the hotel we drive in silence until my phone starts ringing. "Hello?"

"What the fuck Jo?!"

"No what the fuck Hero?! You know how important privacy and the privacy of our baby is to me and you just yell it so everyone can hear?"

"They won't tell anyone."

"You don't know that. Your roommates and friends, sure. But there were people there that you don't know!" I yell at him then add, "You knew it was important to me that we waited and told people together once we knew everything was okay. Now everyone will probably find out before we can tell them."

"So what? Everyone will find out sooner or late anyway. You can't avoid telling people forever."

I rest my head back on the seat blowing out a frustrated breath. "I'll talk to you in the morning."

I hang up the phone as we pull up to the hotel, turning it off I place it in my bag and exit the car.
