Today was the day Hero was leaving for South Africa. We had spent the last two days celebrating our new commitment to one and other with thankfully, zero of his friends.
We only left the house the first day to buy Hero a commitment ring from me and the rest of the time was spent playing with baby J, having movie marathons and of course sneaking in plenty of goodbye sex while baby J slept.
Hero wined and dined me with the best takeout money could buy which meant a lot since I knew he would have preferred to go to the actual restaurant to eat.
Today he was paying extra attention to baby J, trying to spend as much time with her as possible until he left in a few hours. I secretly recorded them as much as I could to have something to watch when i missed him.
Me and baby J were going back to LA in a few days for me to work and later next month maybe going to Australia. That was still to be determined.
We were truly in a good place and even though the distance sucked, I knew we would be fine. Yes- there would probably be some petty stupid fights while we were apart but that was normal for every couple...
