I don't know if it was the heat or if I was just annoyed but if I had to look at one more apartment today I was going to scream.

In typical Hero fashion he was right on top of things, trying to find us a place. I didn't mind so much because most of his roommates started to return to the apartment and even though I liked all of them, I felt like I was invading their space. Hero informed them of our plans but didn't tell them why and I could tell they were all a bit annoyed they would have to already find a new roommate.

My only issue was that I didn't want a apartment to raise a child in and I didn't know how to convey that to him without sounding too bossy so it was making me cranky. Between both of our incomes we could afford it. The problem was that I didn't want to demand that when the pregnancy was so early and we didn't know what was going to happen going forward.

Another thing that was heavily on my mind was that the promo I was supposed to begin for another movie was pushed back because of the virus. It didn't bother me that was pushed back aside for the fact I didn't want to be heavily pregnant doing promo or putting myself at risk.

"Did you like any of the apartments we looked at today?" Hero asks as we walk home finally.

"They were okay." I lie.

He stops and pulls me to his body looking down on me. "So you didn't like any of them?"

I shake my head and bite my lip.

"Why didn't you like them?"

"I don't know. I don't want to have a baby in any of them." I answer honestly, shrugging my shoulders.

He signs and continues walking, this time not bothering to hold my hand.

Once we get to his apartment I grab a water while Hero ignores his roommates playing video games in the living room and goes directly to his room.

"Whats up his ass?" One of them asks but instead of answering I just shrug my shoulders and smile before following him to his room.

When I enter his room I find him laying on his bed, with his hands covering his face.

"What apartments do you like?" I ask while straddling him and moving his hands away from his face.

He glares at me but lets me pin his arms down next to his head, probably because my cleavage is now in his face.

"None because you don't like them."

"Its not that I don't like them..." I trail off and release his arms sitting up.

He grabs my hips keeping me in place. "Then whats the problem?"

"I told you, I don't want to raise the baby in any of them."

"So basically you just don't want to live or raise the baby here then?"

"Thats not what I said!"

"You didn't have to! We looked at five very different places and you didn't try to like any of them."

"Because I want it to have a home! A family home! Not a apartment!"

He tries to speak but I cover his mouth interrupting him.

"And I don't even care if its a apartment if it has a yard and is more like a family home but everything we looked at didn't!"

When I move my hand so he can speak I find a huge grin on his face.

"Thats all you had to say baby." He starts tickling me so I try to move off of him, swatting his hands away. "You always have to be so damn difficult."

"Whatever." I look at him innocently. "I have to do some work stuff though."

"Okay I'll go hang with the guys." He says kissing me softly then leaves the room.

A while later when I'm finished with a zoom meeting, caught up with emails and phone calls to my friends I face time my parents before they go to bed, not wanting to interrupt Hero and his friends.

I feel bad not telling my parents about the baby or my plans for moving here but I feel like its too soon and want to have everything in order before I break the news to them.

I'm laughing as they tell me about their day when Hero comes in, phone in hand.

"Babe how would you feel looking at these 2 houses tomorrow? Look at their yards!" He says putting the phone in my face not noticing I'm on face time until my dad clears his throat.

Great, I think as I give my parents a weak smile.
