H&J Lockdown

I used the app Hero showed me how to use in this situation to order a taxi to take me back to his apartment. When I got there I knocked even though I knew no one was inside.

Slumping against the door I fall to my butt and try calling Hero again. Ringing comes from the other side of the door and I can't help but let out a small cry. Although I am relieved to know he wasn't ignoring me at the park it doesn't help knowing I have no way to reach him. I pull my knees to my chest and bury my head in them trying to get comfortable until he finds me.

I think of all the events that took place today. I don't understand what happened at the park or why he wasn't trying to find me. My mind goes crazy making up scenarios about the girl he stopped for, like what if she was a old fling?

"Jo!" I snap my head up as Heros big body drops to the ground in front of me. He covers my body with his in a hug, burying his nose in my hair.

"Are you okay? Is everything okay?" He asks frantically, pulling back from the hug. He checks over my body before putting his hand on my belly. "Baby I looked for you everywhere, where did you go?"

"I was in the park looking for you. Where did you go?" I ask. I don't know whether I should be mad at him or kissing him right now. I do know I am emotionally exhausted and could use another shower though.

"I had to take a picture with that fan and her friends. I waited for you to get ahead and out of eyesight because she looked at you suspiciously but then you were gone when I tried to catch up. I left my phone at home so I searched the park a couples times before hurrying my ass home to get my phone to call you."

"You didn't know her?"

"No."

"Oh, I thought..."

"We can't keep hiding." He interrupts. Standing up, he pulls me up with him and unlocks the door.

"Yes we can." I answer annoyed, following him inside.

"No we can't, I don't want to anymore. Too much work. Besides some fans think we are together anyway."

"I don't want everyone in our relationship or my personal life!"

"Too late! They already are!" He says raising his voice. "We wouldn't have been separated today if you didn't have to hide!"

His phone rings interrupting us. "I have to take this."

Rolling my eyes I leave him standing in the kitchen and go into his bathroom, needing another shower after the workout I got from running around the park. I hear Hero moving around the bathroom as I sit under the spray, enjoying the feel of the hot water on my skin.

Cold air hitting my skin gets my attention as he pulls the shower curtain back and stepping inside. He moves behind me, wrapping his arms around mine he grabs my hands and rests both of our hands against my belly.

"Think about it, for me? Please?" He asks softly, kissing the side of my neck.

"Okay." I reply hesitantly.

"That was Jen on the phone. They want us to come to LA to begin press, they set a new date for the movie release but can't give it to us yet.""When?"

"They scheduled us a flight three days from now."

I lean my body back more into him. "Shouldn't we wait to see what the doctor says?"

"Yes. But I didn't know if I should tell Jen about whats going on."

I nod in response, unhappy that our fairy tale quarantine seems to be coming to a end.
