"Your not going to ever leave me like that again right?" Hero whispers into my neck as he comes up behind me while I'm combing my hair. He wraps his arms around me and nuzzles my neck.
I give up trying to comb my hair and turn around to him, standing on my tip toes while wrapping my arms around his neck. I lean forward to kiss him, thinking I can make him forget about what I did so that it doesn't ruin the great makeup sex we just had in the shower.

He leans away from my kiss and looks directly into my eyes "Jo, promise me you wont do that again?"

"I promise. I'm sorry, its just getting harder to leave you and its worse when we fight. I knew we would fight because you were upset about me leaving and I didn't want to leave you like that. I just hate leaving you." I go in to kiss him again and this time he kisses me back, his hands traveling down my back to my ass. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around him never breaking the kiss.

My stomach growls and he pulls back. "Have you ate today?"

"No, I was too stressed out." My stomach growls again and I realise I haven't really ate anything since we had dinner two nights ago. I snacked at the airport yesterday but didn't have much of a appetite for anything else.

"Do you want you want to order room service and stay the night here or do you want to go back home and we can make dinner?"

I don't miss how he says home and not his apartment and give him a funny look but I dont say anything.

"I'll just grab a granola bar out of my bag to hold me over and we can head to your place, if you want?"

He nods his head and gives me a peck on the lips before putting me down. I go over to my bags and search my purse for a granola bar and notice the small black pouch I keep in my purse with my snacks and medication is missing. I put everything I would need during my flight in that pouch because my purse is too big to keep on my lap.
I tear through my suitcase and my toiletries bag thinking I may have put it in one of them by accident.

"What are you looking for?" Hero asks while putting on the remainder of his clothes.

"My smaller black pouch I have for flying. It had my medication and snacks. But its gone. Maybe I left it at your house?"

"I didn't see anything but maybe. Is there something important in there or something?"

I stare at him, annoyed. Is he serious? "Yes, Hero. My birth control was in there."
Realization crosses over his face so i continue, "And my snacks. I'm starving."

"When was the last time you remeber having it?"

"I can't remember. I think two nights ago when I took my pill and put it back in my purse." Oh shit. That means I forgot to take a pill yesterday. "Babe we have to go, I need to find it. I didn't eat last night so I forgot to take one. I need to take two as soon as possible."

I start throwing my stuff back in my suitcase like a women crazed while trying to put clothes on. Fuck. We haven't use protection for about a year now and normally I am on top of things.

Okay that is a total lie, I forget all the time and have to double up but sometimes its like those little pills hide from me because they are never where I leave them.
"Babe calm down we will find them," Hero says as he takes my suitcase from me. "Look over the rest of the room and bathroom to make sure you have all your stuff while I check you out. Meet me down there when your done."
He kisses my forhead then leaves the room.
He is so much calmer then me when this happens and always teases about wanting babies so I know he will be the worlds cutest dad one day. I on the other hand flip out.

After I finish looking over the hotel room I grab my purse and head for the door but it opens before I reach it. Hero steps inside with my suitcase and closes the door.

"Whats wrong?" I ask him, confused.

"They advised us to stay here because all transportation has been shut down for the night. We can order room service and leave in the morning," he says while putting my suitcase down and handing me a menu.

Just my fucking luck.
