"Oh.... Hey Mr. and Mrs. Langford, how are you?" Hero asks looking between us nervously as he sits down next to me.

"Were fine dear." My mum answers, then not missing a beat adds. "Whats this about looking at a house? I thought you would be coming home soon Josephine?"

"Yeah mum, I plan on coming home to visit not to stay." I answer. Hero elbows me to answer the rest of my mums question so I continue. "I didn't get a chance to tell either of you but we decided to move in together."

Hero elbows me again but I give him my crazy eyes, letting him know we are not telling them about the baby right now.

"In London?" My dad asks in a strangely calm voice.

"Yes, sir." Hero answers.

"You still will be traveling to the states to work, correct?" My mum asks me.

"Of course. Its just not somewhere either of us wants to live. You know I have struggled with finding a place there for months."

We are grilled by my parents for another ten minutes, until we say our goodbyes. "You should have told them." Hero says immediately after ending the call.

"Why? Its not like you have told your parents." I shoot back.

Picking up his phone he replies, "I will right now, I can't wait to tell them."

I take his phone from his hands and throw it on the bed "Stop! I want to wait."

"Till when?"

"In a couple weeks after our first appointment when we hear the heartbeat and know its real."

He nods slightly, letting me know he isn't fully agreeing with me but drops it. "Lets go eat."

After dinner, Hero holds me from behind as he guides me into the living room where his roommates are deciding on a movie to watch.

"I'm going to get us a blanket." He tells me as he lets go of me.

I sit on the free couch that is along the wall adjacent to the one his friends are sitting on and make small talk about movies until Hero comes back sitting next to me.

Feeling tired I lay down and rest my head on his thigh, laying sideways to see the TV and listen as the guys argue over what movie to watch until they finally decide on The Invisible Man.

The movie starts and the room is drenched in darkness except for the light coming from the TV. Hero spreads the blanket over me and I drift off to sleep.

Because his roommates are sitting slightly in front of us they aren't able to see what Hero is doing.
