Like 17 another world where it runs on video game logic with stats, hp, mp, and so on, and everyone is born with a unique skill. But there wouldnt really be any classes, like someone can choose to go learn magic and wield a sword and shield. Birth skills would be special though, like obviously youd have either the same or similar one to family members, like a royal family that has all lightning based birth skills. There wouldn't be just passive skills either, like one person could have dragon's breath and be able to shoot flames from their mouth.
Unlike other skills and abilities, birth skills are able to evolve different ways. Like the dragon breath ability could evolve to have different elemental options like a lightning breath or wind breath attack, or maybe it could evolve to make its' owner more dragon like and gain defensive scales and strength.
