Basically it'd be kinda magic, like everyone gets a transformation with their own abilities, the transformations could only be activated through special incantations. And more forms could be unlocked through special training and items and stuff. Like different versions of their main form. Maybe it could be like a skill tree where it branches off into other forms or something.
