In this world each kingdom has their own knights with magic powers. Each kingdom calls them by different names, and their powers vary a lot. These magic knights go through a ritual and ceremony when they get accepted to join, which grants them their powers. Each one gets a special ability, magic armor they can summon at will, and a weapon they can summon at will as well. I was thinking of giving them a holy knight kinda vibe, from seven deadly sins
Each kingdom has a magic tower filled with thousands of books with powers sealed into them. Each magic knight ritual is done at their kingdom's tower where a book chooses their soul and grants them the ability in it, along with armor and a weapon that suits their soul. Upon death the ability is returned to the book in the tower.
Each kingdom has a different way of doing their ranks and special teams.
