In this world your soul type determines your worth. Those with angelic or devil souls are at the top, while those with beast souls are treated like animals and filth. Your soul type also determines what your ability will be in this world. Most beast souls possess the ability to turn into a hybrid of which beast it is.
Soul Types
Beast Soul: The most common and the weakest type of soul, these are humans born with the soul of an animal. They possess two abilities, the first is their animal human hybrid form, and the second is whatever ability they're born with.
Shield Soul: If you are born with the soul of a shield, then your life is already decided for you. Any shield soul that is discovered is trained and made into a royal guard. They all possess incredibly high durability and strength, their abilities are usually reinforcement based.
Angelic Soul: A powerful soul type, those born with the soul of an angel always have white hair. They possess two abilities, the first is the ability to grow large wings and fly, and the second is a holy type ability.
Devil Soul: A powerful soul type, those born with the soul of a devil are born with horns. They possess demonic abilities.
Commoner soul: Those soul of a commoner, they outrank the beast souls by very little. They possess weak abilities, but make up many of the population.
Elemental Soul: Those born with this soul type each possess one ability, and their ability is based around a different element. For example those that share the same element could use it differently.
Mythic Soul: Like a beast soul, but they possess the souls of mythical creatures. Whichever mythic creature they possess the soul of determines their ability. Instead of a hybrid form, they can turn into the mythic creature fully.
Merchant Soul: The soul of a merchant, they actually possess the ability to sniff out gold and track items. They do possess a second ability as well.
Hybrid Soul: The rarest soul type of all. Normally when two parents with different soul types have a child, the child possesses the same soul type as one of them. But, on rare occasions, the child will possess a hybrid soul, a fusion of the two parents' soul types.
