ㅤ𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋as he handed his son the candle he had lit.
After what had just occurred during his case in Boise, he thought it would be best to hold a little candlelight vigil for his late wife. It had been a while since he last talked to his son about her, and a tiny part of him felt guilty for it.
He was known as someone who compartmentalizes most of his struggles, and he admittedly hates it when other people butt into his personal life. The people who are closest to him—the team, Jess, and even Jack—don't know how to handle it whenever he decides to shut himself off.
The case made him realize that it might not be the best idea, and the first step in rectifying that is to let his son in.
Holding the glass that held the candle with both his tiny hands, Jack looked up at father confusedly and asked, "Why are we doing this?"
"We haven't talked to mom in a while," Aaron explained, "so I thought it would be a good idea if we did it again."
Jack, still confused, replied, "But I don't want to make you sad."
