ㅤ𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓. Blinking slowly, she let her eyes adjust to the brightness flitting through the swaying curtains they hadn't bothered to close the night before. She sighed a little in satisfaction as she looked at Aaron's sleeping form beside her, soft snores escaping from between his lips. The sight almost made her not want to get up.
But the call of her bladder was a little too much for her to handle.
Carefully, she pushed his arms away from her, and shimmied out of his tight hold. She smiled a little at the sight of his relaxed face, a face she rarely gets to see whenever he was with anyone else. She realized, there, that he felt safe with her, enough to let go of his usual apprehensions and anxieties.
She affectionately patted his cheek as gently as she could, before walking towards their en suite bathroom and doing her business. After standing up and washing her hands, she reached forward to grab her toothbrush, when suddenly the door was pushed open.
