"hey, you okay?"

jongho turned his head to see chenle standing next to his desk. mingi and san dropped him off early today so that they could go to the art room to meet with friends.

"why are you so early?" jongho asked

"my mom had to go to work early so she dropped me off early" chenle explained "what about you though?"

"my brothers help me carrying my stuff because of this" he gestured to his leg, still has a brace, chenle nodded. "they dropped me off early to meet with friends"
[a/n: let's ignore the fact that i forgot he was in the leg thing]

"i thought you could move around easily now?" chenle asked

"i cant, my brothers are just over protective" jongho shrugged "also i'm okay, just tired"

"me too, wanna go to the vending machine while we wait for jeongin?"

jongho nodded and the two left their things on their desk and walked out of the room. the vending machine was in a completely different hallway, it wasn't like a crazy long walk, but it was long enough to strike up a few different conversations.

"anything happen this weekend? other than..." chenle new about the whole san thing, friday night was busy, but he doesn't know that sunday night was pretty busy too

"my brothers are fighting. wooyoung said something really messed up to yeosang last night" jongho sighed out

"oh, i'm sorry. family fights are always annoying"

"does your family fight a lot?" jongho asked as they approached the vending machine

"oh yeah, our family friends come to family get together there's at least twenty some kids. it's messy" chenle chuckled, jongho laughed. the boys stopped laughing when they heard a small voice

"uhm... do you know where class b is?" the boys looked, seeing a pretty girl, she had long brown hair, with these perfectly swooped curtain bangs.

"yeah, we're actually in that class. are you new?" jongho smiled

"yeah, i'm jangmi" the girl smiled

"i'm chenle, this is jongho"

"nice to meet you guys" she smiled again

"where are you from?" jongho asked, it wasn't too uncommon for new students to arrive here, chenle is new, but it was uncommon for them to show up in the middle of the day

"i'm from australia, but my grandparents are giving my parented their shop, so we moved here" jangmi said

"oh, do you have an english name then?" jongho asked

"jordyn, my mom named me after some movie character"

"i like it" jongho smiled

"thanks" jangmi smiled back.

"yeah, so. you want a juice? on me" chenle butt in, feeling like the third wheel already
