*Michael's POV*

And then I ran out.

With tears in my eyes.

White blurring my vision.

A buzzing in my ears,

Making me loose sense of anything anyone else could possibly be saying.

And an empty heart.

It's not even broken,

Just empty.

An empty feeling,

The feeling knowing that you're absolutely helpless and useless to the one you love.

My only reason.

She was my only reason.

And she's...

Going. She's not gone.

Not yet...

But knowing that soon enough she'll be gone,

It doesn't help at all.

Unfair.

So unfair.

A girl like Brooke doesn't fucking deserve it, she's been nothing but nice to anyone. And she hasn't done anything wrong to this world.

No one deserves it.

No one deserves something as cruel as that.

It's unneeded.

Currently, I'm mad, sad, confused, broken...

I can't even.

I'm mad at Brooke for not telling me, but I'm not. I'm mad at me for not doing something about it sooner, all I could do was mention how ill she looked. And I'm mad at the damn world for doing something so mean to the wrong person.

I'm not only loosing the love of my life,

But also a best friend,

She knew everything about me and could read me better than a pre-school version of Harry Potter.

She had my trust, my word, my love.

We've worked too damn hard for this, to just give it up now.

We've come so far.

Rough patches,

Midnight messaging,

Window climbing,

Helping,

Fights,

Laughs,

And just keeping eachother sane.

"Sir, are you okay?"

I looked up to see an old nurse, smiling up at me sadly.

I looked around and noticed I've ended up on some terrace.

And I've noticed the crying.

"What's happened?" She asked kindly.

"My best friend of 15 years, who is the love of my life now, and not to mention fiancée, is dying with severe heart cancer and has been here for the last 3 months and didn't tell me, because stupid me was on a stupid world tour with my band and she didn't want to ruin my opportunities! She's dying...how bad am I?" I sobbed, burying my face into my arms.
