*Calum's POV*

It's tuesday, and Brooke still has no idea im here. I'm planning on breaking up with her today, and I feel bad since tomorrow is her 17th birthday, but I was gonna make it clear that I was doing this for the good of her and Michael, and that we could still stay friends, and that we were simply too young.

I told Mali about everything and my parents, they were a little disappointed that I was gonna let go of such a great girl but they understood why, and told me to do what my heart desired.

Sure, I was gonna miss Brooke, gonna miss the fact that I could call her mine, and her kisses and cuddles. But I knew that she'd enjoy all that a lot more with Michael than with me. I wasn't mad at Michael, not at all. I understood where he was coming from and to be fair, he deserved a wonderful girl like Brooke. And she deserved a wonderful boy like Michael. And even when I think about them being together, I seemed to ship them better than me and Brooke. They just fit together so much better, like jigsaw pieces. It was only for the good of letting her go.

I sighed and then I heard 'Just a Daydream Away' by ATL sound in my bedroom, my phone was ringing. I looked at it and saw the caller ID...

Brooke.

I answered it and I heard her sniffle a bit on the other line, my heart dropped, she was upset and I was about to break up with her? What type of person am I?

"C-Calum?" She spoke.

"Yeah, what's wrong?"

"We need to talk. Come over?"

"Coming over."

"Bye."

"Okay."

And then she hung up. Well, she didn't say 'babe' or anything like that so I guess this makes it easier for me. I dragged my feet off of my bed and slipped on my black vans, I grabbed my car keys, house keys and phone and left. Within 10 minutes I managed to reach her house. I hopped out my car and rang her doorbell. Brooke didn't answer, Mandy did.

"Oh, Brooke called you over right?" She said, gloomily.

"Yeah."

"Upstairs in her room." She told me before closing the front door behind me as I walked up the stairs.

Mandy knew something, obviously.

I knocked slightly, normally I would walk right in, but I felt more awkward knowing what I was about to do. She opened moments later, dried tear marks on her cheeks. I smiled sadly before stepping into her room.

She stepped over and sat on her bed slowly, her gaze was on the floor and she was playing with her fingers.

"You're not deep again are you?" I asked.

"No, no...we just...I need to talk." She said.

"Okay, I actually need to talk too." I admitted.

"Right, well uh, before you do I need to confess something..." she said.

"Go ahead." I ushered.

"I think I'm in love with Michael. And, I wanna break up because...I feel guilty being with you, and...to be honest, I don't think we're right together. I...I feel like...it's Michael." She said.

I sighed in relief, "I actually was gonna say the same."

"Wait, what?"

"I was gonna break up with you today. Because..." I was gonna tell her that Michael loved her, but I was gonna let Michael do that. "Because I can tell you love Michael, and you'd be a lot happier with him, and I'm not jealous. At all. I actually ship you two...Mrooke." I chuckled. "Anyways, you and Michael were made for eachother. No denying there."
