*Brooke POV*

I was currently getting ready to head over to Ashton's. Apparently he has big news and he wants us to meet someone 'really important' to him. Possible girlfriend maybe?

All of us were going over, and we were all equally confused. He didn't tell anyone who it was. Nor did he even give hints. We aren't even 100% sure it's a girl. But were all excited to see who it was.

Michael would be here any minute to pick me up, since Ashton lives the furthest from all of us and my dad was out and there was no way in hell I was asking Mandy to drive me, she'd purposely crash the car and kill me.

I looked at my reflexion one last time; black denim shorts, an ACDC tank top, black hightops, my red belly button piercing, wristbands, guitar pick earrings that Michael bought me and the locket he gave me. And my hair; it was down, but brushed back and pinned down at the top of my head, letting straight parts of my hair fall over my shoulders. And for makeup; black eyeliner and mascara. I also painted my nails...yes, you guessed it, black.

I was definitely looking different today. But lately, I haven't been feeling the same. I wasn't sure why. My whole mind went on the 'You Only Live Once' motto. I felt the 'Live your live to the fullest' adrenaline in me. And a 'Be different, do what you want while you can' quote swimming along in my mind somewhere. I had no idea why I was feeling this way, I'm not dying soon.

But, Luke and Michael haven't stopped checking up on me. It's because of how I've been feeling. I've noticed a change too; my bones are visible, my cheeks look unhealthily hallow, I always have dark circles around my eyes, my skin is paler than Michael's, and I didn't know it was possible. I don't even feel pain anymore, I'm just numb all over. I try and move as little as possible, or if not, I get excruciating pain that feels like lightening bolts in my body.

I snapped my eyes away from my reflection as I heard the doorbell ring. I grabbed my small bag and stuffed my necessities in it and ran down to answer it. Luckily enough, Mandy wasn't in the house to answer the door. It was just me, and dad. But he was busy doing some sort of work on his laptop.

I opened the door to reveal a very smiley Michael. I immediately pecked him on the lips. He smiled before pulling me to his car.

"Let me tell you, Brooke. You're looking different. A good different. More punk rock." He smirked as he buckled his seat belt in.

"It's good to try new things, or you never will truly know where you stand." I smirked back.

"I like the way you think, Junes." Michael smirked. Let's just say, a lot of smirking going on.

"And how is my wonderful boyfriend on this fine summer's afternoon?" I asked. Corny, I know.

"Spectacular now that I'm with you." He fluttered his eyelashes.

"Cheeeeeeeeese." I teased. Causing us to laugh.

He turned the radio up to Green Day's 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' and sang along to it. As did I. We pulled up at Ashton's about 25 minutes later, we went up and knocked on the door. Seconds later, Lauren opened it. Tears down her face.

"Lauren what's wrong?" I asked the 13 year old.

"I-I can't tell you...A-Ashton...he'll f-freak out..." she blubbered.

"We won't tell Ashton. What happened?" Michael said, wrapping his arms around her as she cried into his shoulder.

"P-Promise?" Lauren asked.

"We promise." I said.

"M-My b-boyfriend..." she mumbled.

"You have a boyfriend? Ashton doesn't let you date until your 16 Laur." Michael said.
