SIDNEY
The VIP rooms are spacious. Right now, Andrew is acting like a professional. He's not teasing me. He is answering my questions seriously.
I am taking photographs of every part of the room.
"Not really," he answered with a bored look on his face.
"Ha? I'm glad I can finally speak to him naturally. Hindi na ako kinakabahan katulad ng dati. Mabuti na lang professional si Andrew.
"Why are you asking me that? Tao rin sila. You should know what they want," he said as he looked at me like I'm the weirdest person in the world that he ever met.
I frowned. "Maybe, that's a stupid question. But they're different. But for rich people, it's quite different, right? They need luxurious things around them," I stated. I'm not against rich people. That's just what I thought.
"You're wrong. Do you think money and those luxurious things can really make them happy? Mababaw rin silang tao. Most of the time, they just need love," he answered seriously. "They need peace. They need more time to enjoy themselves. Do you really think this room is too much for them?" tanong niya sa 'kin.
I bit my lips. He got a point. Maybe I'm really wrong. "Sorry," apologetic na sabi ko. Lumambot ang ekspresiyon ng mukha niya. He sighed.
"What are you planning to do in this room?" tanong ni Andrew sa 'kin.
"I want to consider the things you said earlier. A design where they can feel love, peace, happiness and enjoyment. They will stay here to enjoy themselves," sagot ko.
"Is that so? Then I forgot something. They also need sex. You must put love seats, too," he grinned.
"What are you talking about? Is this a honeymoon suite?" naiinis na tanong ko. I am trying to hide my embarrassment.
"Yes. Couples will probably go here for honeymoon. You should know that. And don't blush like that. It tempts me to tease you more," he grinned. "Oh. Sorry. I almost forgot that you don't have any experience on that field. Don't worry. I'll teach you. It might help you with your designs," he teased.
"Thanks but no thanks. Just go back to Manila. Mas kailangan ko roon," I said and glared at him.
He just followed me silently. Hindi na siya nagkomento sa sinabi ko. It is lunch time.
"Did you finish checking every room?" nakangiting tanong ni Ayden.
Nakangiting tumango ako. I think, I can work on the design's drafts this evening.
"Good. He smiled mischievously. For sure, he came up with a malicious conclusion.
