" Sean". Erik called softly and kneeled down in front of his broken younger brother who was sitting on the living room's floor. Drunk mess. Erik placed his hand on Sean's shoulder gently. Sean raised his head with his tear-filled eyes and glanced at his elder brother.

" Stop it, Sean. Let go of her. I know it's hard. I know you've been hurt. I also know that you're afraid to start over. But you have to start from somewhere. You have to open up all over again. You cannot live this way, Sean. No one can. You cannot close yourself up. Don't believe that everyone is out to hurt you". Erik tried explaining for the thousandths time.

" It's-it's ha-hard".
Sean stuttered badly.

"I know Sean. I know life is hard and people are even harder. But there's still so much goodness out there. So much love. Believe me, when I say, your heart will beat again like it used to. Your heart will love again. Your heart will be mended. Healed. Forged. Good things are coming my brother. I can feel it. Just make sure you're ready for it when it happens. For once. At least for once. Try to give yourself a chance".

" I TRIED ERIK". Sean raised his voice this time frustratingly. "I smoked. I drank. I drove at 200 on the freeway. I tried everything to make my heart feel the way it used to when she was with me. But nothing. Nothing's helping. It didn't even beat fast. Now-It fee-feels like I-I don't have one".

" No Sean. It's not like that". Erik tried to console his only brother. " You have a heart. A beautiful heart with full of love. I'm not telling you to force yourself or your heart. I just want you to take a break. Give yourself some space. Everything happens for a reason".

" I know Erik. I know. But sometimes I want to know what was the reason. I wish I knew what the reason was behind. What was my fault? Huh? What was her and what was the fault of that little soul who wasn't even born? Who didn't even breathe for once". His voice broke in the end like himself.
