~THE FOLLOWING MORNING~

John woke me up with a fascinating way. Let's just say it's our accomplishment from work (wink wink). John and I went to the airport to meet up with dad. Me and John are waiting at the gate when we saw dad with Walsh. Just then, I pulled dad's arm and dragged him far away from John and Walsh. 

"What is she doing here?" I asked.

"Well, you went to her and said we need to go to New York." Dad said.

"I said WE, like you, me and John. Not with her." 

"Oh just deal with it, sweetheart." Dad said and he went to his girlfriend. I took a big sighed and shake my head. 

"Honey, let's go." John called. I went near him and he held my hand as we walked to the gate. John walked in front and lead us to our chair. I was sat on the window seat and John is beside me. I saw Walsh and dad went behind us and Walsh is behind me. I looked at dad and he gave me a warning glare. I rolled my eyes and took a seat. I sighed loudly and I put my elbow on my window and rubbed my forehead. I felt John rubbed my thigh. I looked at him and I lay my head on his shoulder.

"I can't bear to see them together." I said softly. 

"You got to. Your dad can't bear to see us together, too." John said. 

"I just can't let dad change mom." I said.

"He's not changing his love for your mom. He found another love for Walsh and for all I know, he wouldn't change his love for your mom. no matter what." He said. I looked at him in his eyes and I smiled lovely at him. 

"I can't believe you're my boyfriend." I said. He chuckled.

"I thank God that you're my girlfriend." He said and he peck my lips.

"I love you babe." I told him as we break the kiss.

"I love you too, hon." He said and I lay my head on his shoulder.

~New York~

We have arrived at the building of John's work. Dad opened the door for us. Since me, dad, and Walsh are on the passenger seat and John took the shotgun side. John went beside me and we held each other's hand, while dad and Walsh are following us from behind. 

"Welcome to where I work." John told me and we smiled big.

"Ours is still the best." I teased him. He just chuckled and he kissed my forehead. 

"Yours is the best." He said and we laughed as we entered the elevator. 

"Y/N, be professional." Dad said as he entered the elevator with us. I rolled my eyes at him and I sighed. John pressed the button and we waited. 

"Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady." Dad said.

"Here we go again.." I said as I crossed my arms. 

"We'll talk later." Dad pointed at me as he turned to look at me. I just sighed and when the door opened. John walked out. I followed John and heard Walsh giving dad a warning.

"Sam." She said.

"What? She's turning like how she was when she's a teenager." Dad whispered.

"She haven't warmed up on me, give her time." 

"Time? It's been a year.." Dad said. 

"Now, Sam. We're here for work, let our personal matters set aside first." Walsh said.

"Fine." Dad said. John stopped at the door. 

"This is him." John said to dad and Walsh. Walsh went inside, dad followed her, I followed behind dad and saw John behind me.
