~AFTER BLACKWOOD CRISIS~

I am happily working as a detective too. But I take cases secretly with the help of the city police. I work alone as I realize I don't work well with a partner, which I recognize from the Sherlock Holmes's words. I was walking at the black market when I felt a hand on my arm and pulled me into the dark alleyway. When we were away from the public's eye, I threw a punch in the face when the man's hand stopped me from punching.

"You still got the punch, I see." I heard a familiar voice. A voice I thought I would never hear.

"What are you doing here?!" I angrily pushed Holmes away from me. I saw him put his hat down the box beside him and went near me. But before he walked near me, I showed a hand for him to stop.

"Don't come near me." I said.

"I finally found you. You always thrill me, darling. Your cases that I find so discreetly being solved. And it led me to you."

"I thought I made it clear that I don't want anything to do with you right after I left your apartment."

"No you don't. You didn't even say it with your words."

"Then let me tell you. I don't need anything from you anymore. You cleared that up with your words." I said as I walked away from the alleyway.

"Y/N, I didn't say that I don't want you working with me." He said as he ran to me.

"You've said your peace, now I want my peace." I said.

"You don't understand!" Holmes shouted as I stopped at my tracks. I faced him and saw the distance between him and I.

"I don't need you to explain more." I walked away and grabbed a cabbie to my home.

~AT HOME~

I arrived home and I began to fixed my dinner. While fixing my dinner, I heard my door opened. I looked at the living room and I gasped in disbelief.

"Really, Holmes?!" I asked as I looked at him, trying to stand properly and closed the door behind him. He put back his tools in his coat and began removing his shoes and his coat and hat.

"I know you wouldn't answer you door if I knocked, so I opened the door for me instead."

"I can't believe you would follow me here. You're trespassing by the way." I said.

"You won't hear me out. I know I said some things before and I regretted it. I didn't mean to say those things at you. I didn't mean when I said that you're clingy. In fact, I missed having you close to me." He said.

"Stop it." I said.

"No, hear me out please." He said as he held my hand and kneel in front of me, which scared me because no one can make the great Sherlock Holmes kneel for them.

"Why are you kneeling?" I asked.

"To let you know that I'm sincere." He said.

"I apologize for the words that I said that hurt you and I said those words without using my genius brain. I would do anything you want as long as you forgive me and I want you to work back with me. Only you can make me think straight and you are the only reason I happily go to work."

"Why, Holmes? Even after I left, why do you still want me to go back?"

"Watson is about to get married, and I realize that I'm scared to be alone, I push the only girl that stayed with me through thick and thin. I pushed her away because of my stupidity. It's not a home without you. You mean the world to me. I realized this lately that I need you and I love you."

I gasped at what he admitted. I saw him stand and held my cheeks in his hands. He slowly lean and lay his lips in mine. Mending together like a missing puzzle piece. I lay my hand on his chest, while the other one ran its way to his neck and into his hair. I answered on his kiss and we're both fighting for dominance since our feelings are now being unlocked. I felt him brought me to my couch, he lay us on the couch without breaking the kiss. He put himself in between me. My dress began to ran down my thighs and I felt his hands ran down my thigh.

"You're mine now." I heard him whispered as he kiss down on my neck.

"Wait." I said as I pull his face near mine.

"What?" He asked breathlessly.

"I'm cooking and the pasta's boiling." I said. I heard him chuckled and peck my lips again.

"We eat then we continue this." He said and I chuckled at him. He stand and helped me stand too. We both went to the kitchen. As I continued cooking, he began roaming around the flat.

"Are you done inspecting, detective?" I asked him as I place two plates of pasta in my table. One for me and one for Holmes.

"Yes, love." He said as he walked down the stairs and into the table. He sat in front of me and smelled the food.

"No poison?" He asked me while smirking.

"Only my hard work and love poured on it." I said as I began to pick up my fork and twirl my pasta on it.

"Then, I shall devoured this food of yours." He ate and I laughed at him.

During the dinner, he sincerely apologized and we began talking about our past cases. He mentioned about the in-between of his cases with Watson and his new girlfriend, in which he doesn't vote. He wanted Watson not be wed, but Watson pushed him into finding me instead of prying in his decision of marriage.

"Irene tried visiting me last week." Holmes began and I stopped.

"And?" I asked as I looked at him, in which he was already staring at me.

"She was trying to bring back the old us." He said.

"And?"

"I declined. She wasn't fond when I told her that you're the only one I want."

"So, the sister doesn't approved. What's her next revenge move?" I asked as I took a bite of my food.

"There will be no revenge from her. I'll protect you from her." He said as he held my hand from the table.

"I can protect myself from her, I just have you know."

"I want to." He said and I chuckled.

After dinner, I began washing the dishes and saw Sherlock walked upstairs and enter one of the rooms. I guess his inspecting isn't done. I chuckled at the thought of him prying into the smallest details of my apartment. As soon as I'm done with the dishes, I went to the bathroom upstairs and began to freshen up my breath. After, I walked back to my room and to my surprise, he was already laying on my bed, clothes off, him in between my blanket with his eyes closed.

"As soon as you're done changing, join me here. It's lonely without you." He said cutting me from my trance.

"What do you think you're doing, Mister?" I asked as I changed my clothes. I put on my silk robe and walked out of my changer curtain. I walked in the side he's sleeping.

"That's my spot." I said.

"No, you're spot is always on the right side." He said.

"Were you snooping while I was still at your apartment?" I asked as I put my hand on my hips and stare at him.

"No, it's called checking if you're sleeping good." He said. Suddenly, he sat up to picked me up to lay on my real spot of the bed. As soon as I lay, he went on top of me and stared at me.

"What are you staring at?" I asked him. Then, he began caressing my face and putting my hair away from my face.

"This gorgeous face. This girl that I can call mine and the love of my life."

"I thought my sister was your love of your life?" I teased. He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"No, you are."

"I love you too."

"I love you more, my darling."

He kissed my lips passionately and I smiled at the kiss as I lay hands on his face to deepened the kiss.
