THE FORBIDDEN LOVE 9

"Nathan?!" I was shocked. He pushed us inside the room and locked the door behind him. "What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I needed to see you." 

"Why?" Just then, he kissed me as he held me closer to him. I widened my eyes from the surprise and began to melt in the kiss. I wrapped my around his neck and brought him closer to me.

"You know..." He broke the kiss and rested his forehead against mine as we looked at each other. "You don't have to get jealous of Miss Gwyneth, she'll never be as good enough as you. You're all I ever wanted, and I waited for you for a whole two damn years just for you to be mine." 

"Damn, Mr. Ruffalo." I whispered and he chuckled. "And about James?"

"Damn you, Ruffalo." He now said and I laughed at him.

"Even if he asked me, I will always turn him down cause I have an awesome and handsome boyfriend, and I waited for whole two damn years for him to be mine. And I would not waste this opportunity to be with you." I said and he smiled big.

"I love you, Y/N." 

"I love you too, Nathan." I peck his lips again and I broke our hug.

"Now, do you miss me so much that you can't stay still in your chair?" I asked as take a seat on my chair and browsed today's schedule.

"Yeah, I do. I can't stop worrying about you." He said as he grabbed a chair and sat beside me. He laid his chin on my shoulder and hugged my waist as he looked at the schedule as well.

"You won't worry anymore, 'cause after the semis, it's home time." I said as I looked at him.

"Great! Means more time for us." He pecked my lips and I giggled at him.

"Yes, there is." I turned off the computer and I faced him. I sat on his lap and we cuddled. 

"Love, where will you go to college?" He asked.

"UCLA has offered me a scholarship at their university." I said plainly and he grabbed me excitedly.

"What!? That's good news love! It's UCLA! Congratulations, love!"

"Thanks." I said plainly. I continued to cuddle him and he caressed my arm.

"Why aren't you excited?" 

"How can I?" I began as I looked at him. "I'll be away from home, I'll be away from you and I can't bear that." 

"Love, we can do this. We have to trust each other. I trust you so much and I have trust in us." 

"But San Francisco is far from LA. I couldn't stay far away from you." 

"Love, I want you to grow and learn more in UCLA. It would be selfish of me if I wanted to keep you away from learning."

"Can't you work there? Maybe I could find some university here rather than going to LA." 

"No, don't do that. UCLA is one of the best learning environments that you can get exposed to. I trust us, love. And let's not think about it. We still have a lot of time." I nodded at what he said.

"Can I stay with you tonight again?" I asked.

"Yes, you can, my love. You're welcome any time you want."

~EXAMS~

It's the exam week and I haven't had any proper sleep. Me and Hannah are up all night, studying for the upcoming tests. It's already 4 AM and we're still reviewing our notes when I heard a phone rings. I tiredly looked at my phone and saw Nathan's calling.

"Nate... Why'd you call?" I asked tiredly.

"Open the door." He said.

"What?" I asked in a confused manner.

"Just open the door." 

I walked tiredly towards the door and when I opened it, I got shocked as I saw him standing outside the door, with a food bag from McDonalds. I ended the call and I smiled at him.

"You don't have to." I said as I went to the side and let him come in.

"I want to." He said as he walked to the living room.

"Hannah, eat this and go to sleep, you only have 3 more hours to sleep." Nathan said as he gave Hannah's food. 

"Thanks, Mr. Gardner. But, I rather sleep than eat. I'll eat this on the way to school." Hannah said and she immediately walked to her bedroom. I sat on the couch and sighed tiredly as I lay my head on the head rest.

"Here, eat first then we sleep." He said. I only nodded, tired to argue. I got the food from him and ate. 

"Why aren't you eating?" I asked as he was only drinking coffee.

"I'm fine. I need you to eat." I nodded and continued to eat. After I ate, Nathan was the one who fixed my mess and he brought us inside my room. I immediately lay on the bed and sighed as I felt the bed sink and saw Nathan lying beside me and to cuddle me. As soon as I rest up on his chest, I immediately fell asleep.

*NATHAN'S POV

I cover us with the blanket and I lay a kiss on her head as I gently caress her arm that is resting on my waist. 

"Good night, my love. I love you." I said. I waited for her response, but I received none. I looked at her and saw her fast asleep. 

"This girl... You don't take care of yourself, don't worry because I can look after you. I'll be here with you, caring for you, loving you, and protecting you. No matter what happens, I love you so much." I ended my speech with a kiss on her forehead. 

I looked at the ceiling and smiled as I remembered how we started dating a couple of months ago. 4 months into dating, I still feel like I'm in cloud 9 whenever I'm with her. With just a touch of her hand, it feels like a drug to me. She do things that I have never felt before. Never did I felt like I'm high on love, only to her. Yes, I've been in loved before with my past relationships, but never did I imagine being this in love. Fuck! She wrecks my mind. But I really love her. I am willing to make a lot of sacrifices for her to be happy and I would do every thing in my power to put a smile on her face. 

Look at how crazily in love I am with her, and by the love that I show her, I would never stop making her feel like she's loved and feel wanted. I will marry this girl someday when the time is right.
