~The following day~ 

Me and Robert dressed up and we both sat on the bed and just cuddled. 

"How are you feeling right now? Are you okay? I didn't hurt you, did I?" Robert asked worriedly.

"Darling, I'm feeling fantastic. You didn't hurt me, okay? In fact, you made me happy." I said as I looked at him. He smiled big at me and he leaned in for a kiss. Just then, we heard the door barged in. I gasped at the sudden action. I felt Robert held me in a protective way as I tightly hugged him. I looked at the door and got shock.

"Father?!" I asked shockingly.

"What are you doing to the princess, Doctor Merivel!?" Father asked Robert.

"You're highness, it's not like what you think--" Me and Robert began to stand and I went in front of Robert.

"You're a disgrace! Y/N, what are you doing here?!" Father asked me. 

"Father, please. It's--"

"No explanation! I shall only believe what my eyes deceive! Guards! Bring Merivel to the castle!" Father said as he walked out and two guards went in to get Robert.

"Father no! Robert is innocent! Please..." I cried out. 

"Then, enlighten me Y/N! Why did I see you kissing him?! You're about to get married!" Father asked angrily. He's really disappointed right now.

"Father, me and Robert are keeping this relationship far too long, Father." I said as I held Robert's hand in mine. 

"You disobey me, Y/N! Lock this man in the castle's dungeon!" Father said. I widen my eyes and I held Robert's hand tightly. 

"Father, please no.." I said. Just then, the guards began to take Robert away from me. Father held my hand and dragged me on the coach and I sat there crying. 

"I'm so disappointed at you Y/N.." I heard Father said. 

~Evening~ 

Father decided to keep Robert on the cell until my wedding. Father also decided to give Robert a death sentence as a punishment. I tried to plead but, father made his mind. I went down to the dungeon and asked the guard master to bring me to Robert's cell. The guard master unlocked Robert's cell. I went inside and saw his head down on his arm while his arm is resting on his knees up. 

"Robert?" I called out for him. He slowly looked up and saw me. He stand and went near me. I hugged him tightly and I cried on his shoulder. 

"I'm so sorry, Robert. I tried everything, but--" 

"Hey... shhh.. Calm down, darling." Robert said as he held my cheeks and he wiped my tears.

"I don't want to calm down, unless you're out of here. They will kill you Robert!" I said as tears continued to fall from my eyes. 

"Darling, I'm happy if I died because I tried my best to fight for our love. I'm peaceful if I did everything I can to show them how much I love you." Robert said as he showed me a hurt smile. I shake my head in disagreement. 

"I don't want you to die, Robert. I need you in my life." I said. 

"I need you more, darling." Robert said. He leaned down and kissed me on the lips. I broke the kiss and hugged him. 

~Wedding~

Today's the day. I haven't had any proper sleep for the past couple days. I looked at the crowd in front of me. I began to walk but slowly. When I almost reached the middle, I stop.
