THE FORBIDDEN LOVE 13

~ONE MONTH BEFORE GRADUATION~

There is an announcement for the graduating students at the PATS Room or Performing Arts Theater. All of us arrived and began to take our seats. The rest of the student body officers and I are sitting in the front row. The podium is set at the side of the stage and we saw Nathan went out from the backstage and went to the podium to speak. But before he spoke, he tried looking at me in the audience and when he saw me, he smiled at me and focused on the paper that he was holding on.

"Good morning, students." Nathan began. Everybody greeted back.

"As we all know, your graduation is coming up next month." Nathan paused and smiled sadly at me. "I have with me here, the paper with names included for our Latin honors." This is the part where I am very nervous. Nathan knows how this is important to me and how nervous I feel about it. Nathan tried to tell me if I was part of the list, but I told him no since I wanted no special treatment from him.

"Summa Cum Laude. We have three students. This student's rank is 97.96, our third Summa is Mr. Harry Washington." Nathan announced. I did a high-five with Harry and the rest of the officers cheered for him. Now that Harry's in, I felt my confidence became low because I had never heard my name being called out.

"Second Summa is Ms. Hannah Miller with 98.32%." Me and Hannah were shocked. The two of us hugged together and I looked at Nathan and I sighed deeply, losing my opportunity to work my way up with the honors, as well.

"Our First Summa Cum Laude is---" While Nathan's making the class feel the suspense, I couldn't help but sigh shakily and I looked at Nathan and saw him looking at me then back to his papers. "---Ms. Y/N Y/L/N with an average of 98.54%. Congratulations!" 

I widened my eyes and held my head in my hands as the stress and the pressure washed off me. I felt Hannah hug me from my back while cheering at me. I heard my officers and classmates cheered as well. I looked at Nathan and mouthed a 'thank you' at him. He only nodded and smiled in his response. 

~AFTER CLASS~

Hannah and I went home and I lay on my bed, still couldn't believe that I would graduate first in my class. I couldn't even stand from my bed to change into comfy clothes because I was still in the process of trying to let the news sink into me. 

"Y/N, your boyfriends here!" I heard Hannah shout. 

"I'm in bed, can you come here Nathan?!" I shouted back. I heard a knock on the door and saw it was Nathan. He went inside and locked the door. 

"Hi, love. What are you feeling?" He asked as he dropped his bag on a nearby chair and he lay beside me, cuddling with me.

"The feeling hasn't sunk in yet. But, thank you." I said and I looked at him and peck his lips.

"Thank you? For what?" 

"It's because of your help whenever it's exam week, you're there to help me study and to take care of myself. And it's because of you I wanted to work hard. I wanted to be better for my future." I said.

"It's all you, love. You did this all by yourself. I'm just beside you to help and remind you of things."

"I hope when I'm into College, you could be my private tutor?" I teased and he laughed as he faced me and let me lay down as he went on top of me. 

"But, I do need payment for the tutoring that we'll be doing in the future." He teased back.

"Like what?" I teased back while smirking.

"Like this." He captured my lips into his and we both smiled at the kiss. "A couple of this." He said as he pecked my lips.

"This..." He slowly make his way into my neck and sucked on my sweet spot.

"Love..." I moaned. Then, I heard his low chuckle.

"A couple of that too." He said referring to my moans. 

"It's settled then." I said.

"It was nice dealing with you." He said.

"It was hard not to resist those settlements." I said and I wrapped my arms around his neck. 

"Well, I need a couple of down payments for my tutorial."

"Then, be my guest. Take as many as you want, it's all yours." I said seductively and he began kissing my lips again.

~DINNER TIME~

"Hi, Mom! How are you?" I asked as soon as I heard her answer her phone.

"Hi, honey! Me and Dad are fine. How about you?"

"I'm fine, Mom. I have some news that I wanted to share with you." I said as I sat beside Nathan on the bed, the call was on speaker mode so Nathan could hear the conversation. He lay me in his chest and he placed his chin on my shoulder to cuddle me.

"What is it, honey? Oh! Don't tell me you're pregnant!" 

"Wait, what!? Mom! That's ridiculous!" I said and I heard Nathan giggle.

"Oh? Was that Nathan in the background?"

"Hi, Mrs. Y/L/N." Nathan said.

"Hi, Nathan! Darling, could you give me a little warning next time if Nathan's with you? I was a bit embarrassed when I asked if you were pregnant." 

"What?! My princess is pregnant?!" We heard Dad in the background.

"What?! Tell Dad I am not!" I said. I felt Nathan rub my arm and he let me lay on his chest while his back was on the headboard of the bed.

"No, darling. She's not. What is your news, honey?" Mom asked me.

"I am graduating first in my class. You have a Summa Cum Laude daughter, who's graduating next month." I said.

"WHAT?! Honey, we're so proud of you! Congratulations, honey!" Mom said.

"I couldn't be more proud of you, princess. Your hard work pays it off."  Dad said, I guess I'm on speaker phone with them.

"Thank you so much, guys. I expected the both of you present at my graduation!" 

"Of course, honey. Your brother is also coming to your graduation. HE said he couldn't wait to meet your boyfriend." Mom said.

"Oh, God. He can come if he promised not to embarrassed himself in front of Nathan." I said.

"Well, he's bringing a girlfriend with him. I guess it's time for me to give a talk to this girl." Mom said and we all laughed.

"Let me guess, he finally though of being serious in his life?" I asked and heard Dad laughed. 

"He did, princess. He finally manned up and act like one. God, I can't imagine him, at the age of 29,, not being serious with life. But, I guess the girlfriend that he found made him realize about life." Dad said.

"Well, good for him. But, I gotta go guys. I called just to let you know about my good news." I said.

"Alright, bye you two." Mom said.

"Nathan, are you taking good care of my daughter?" Dad asked.

"Yes sir, treating her like a queen sir." Nathan responds.

"Good to know. Bye, Y/N, Nathan. See you soon." Dad said.

"Bye." Me and Nathan said at the same time. I ended the call and I wrapped my arms around him.

"Hmm... I couldn't help but laughed knowing that your mom thinks you're pregnant." Nathan said and we both laughed.

"I know right!"

"In the future, that is the news we'll be breaking to them. After all your responsibilities to school." He said and I nodded my head.

"You're right!"
