*Y/N

After the debacle in Switzerland, Mycroft and Carruthers joined me and John on our journey back to London. When we rode the train, John and I were sitting beside each other. I lay my head on the wall beside me and stared at the view. Lunchtime came and the food arrived. I stared at my food and began playing with it.

"Y/N." I heard John called. I looked beside him and saw him sigh. "You have to eat. Since yesterday you haven't eaten anything."

"I'll be fine, John." I said softly.

"Come on, I know you're grieving but you have to eat something or else you'll get sick. Mary would get mad at me knowing that I haven't taken care of you on our way home." He said and I chuckled softly.

"My dear, Watson is right." Mycroft began. "We all took a toll on the loss of my brother, but this is the start of your freedom from your Father. Live up and don't let his death go to waste, he died for your freedom willingly."

"I missed him. I missed his sarcastic comments and all." I said.

"We do too." John said. "But this isn't the end of your life." I only nodded and smiled a little at them.

"Thank you." I said as I looked at John and Mycroft.

"You're welcome. I already considered you as my sister-in-law, if you don't mind." Mycroft said and I chuckled.

"If Sherlock was here, he would agree to disagree about that." I said and Mycroft laughed, while John smiled at me.

~LONDON~

When we reached the station in London, I saw Mary in the view. She immediately ran towards John and they kissed, missing each other.

"I have to go." I told the group. John looked at me worriedly.

"We'll bring you home." He said.

"No need. I'll be fine on my own. Spend some time with Mary, I'm sure she misses you." I said.

"About the service..."

"I'll be there." I said smiling hurtfully at him. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"Take care." He said as he hugged me. I hugged him back and smiled.

"Take care of yourself, Watson." I said as I broke the hug. I got my small luggage and made my way out of the station, into the carriage, and back to my apartment. As soon as I arrived, I went to my office and went to my table. I softly lay my head on my arms and weep, finally pouring my emotions out.

~AFTER A WEEK~

It was Sherlock's service at the church. The ceremony began as I sat at the side of the church. People who attended the ceremony listened to what the priest said while I tried to focus my mind on the times we spent together, on and off-missions. I felt John sat at my right and Sim at my left. Sim held hands with me and squeezed for sympathy. I lay my head on John's shoulder as both of us wanted this ceremony to be done.

As soon as the ceremony was done, people began vanishing out of the church. John pulled me to stand and we all made our way out. We went to a local restaurant and we ate dinner all together with Mary, Sim, Mycroft, Carruthers, John, and me.

"Y/N, why don't you stay with us?" Mary began. "Me and John were planning to continue our Honeymoon plans tomorrow. We wanted you to watch over Gladstone and the house as well."

"Are you sure about that?" I asked John and Mary.

"Yes, we're very sure of that." John said.

"Go on, my dear. It could help you relax for a bit." Mycroft insisted.

"Of course, I want that." I told Mary and the couple smiled.

After dinner, they all brought me to my flat to retrieve some clothes and my things for me to bring to John and Mary's house. As soon as I was done gathering my things, I went to Mycroft's carriage and brought us to Mary and John's flat. When we arrived at the house, Mycroft and Carruthers went to the living room.

"I would like to say my farewell." Mycroft said.

"You'll go back to Switzerland?" I asked him and he nodded his head.

"Yes, I will. I hope you well, dear." He said and we hugged.

"I wish you well too." I said.

"Thank you, Mycroft." John said as they both hugged. Mary hugged Mycroft as well.

"Carruthers, do you have my oxygen with you?" Mycroft asked as he and Carruthers made their way out.

"I thought it was with you, since it wasn't at the mansion, sir." Carruthers said. I looked confusingly at the two and saw Mycroft look at me and smiled.

"See you soon, dear." He told me. I nodded my head and smiled as they went to their carriage.

"Y/N, let us show your room." John caught my attention. I turned back and saw him holding Mary's shoulder as she held John.

"Of course." I said as I closed the door and locked it.

~THE FOLLOWING MORNING~

In a while, Mary and John are on their way to Brighton for their Honeymoon. John is inside his office writing. While I assisted Mary in looking at their things being loaded at the carriage.

"I will give it to him. Thank you." I heard Mary say as the odd-looking man went away fast. I began to get curious and saw Mary going near me.

"Y/N, could you give this to John, while I go talk to the man carrying our luggage." Mary commanded and I nodded my head. I grabbed the small box and went to John.

"John, there was a package sent to you." I said as I brought the package to his table. "What are you writing?" I asked.

"Just some adventure." He said and I nodded. Then, we heard Mary go inside John's office.

"John, you should probably pack. It's half past two and the carriage will be leaving at four." Mary said as I went in front of John's table and sat on top while reading a couple of paragraphs from his finished paper. "It's gonna be a beautiful week in Brighton."

"Yes, it'll be fun. I'm looking forward to it." John said.

"You know, I miss him too, in my own ways." Mary said. Making John and I looked at each other.

"He would've wanted us to go." John said. I smiled at the two of them.

"He would've wanted to come with us." Mary said.

"I doubt that." I said. "If he was here, I could've kept him occupied." I said and they laughed.

"Of course, you will." John said.

"I wouldn't want him to disturb your honeymoon with Mary, again." I said. Then, Mary walked out of the office, smiling. Just then, John picked up his package while I continued reading the page.

"Y/N." I heard John called. I hummed without looking at him as I finished the last words from his page. When I looked at him, I was shocked to see the device in his hand. It was Mycroft's oxygen device. Just then, I began thinking.

"Can you ask Mary what the postman looks like?" I asked John as he brought the device with him and immediately caught up with Mary. I walked to John's table and looked at the stamps from the package.

"This can't be..." I said while tears began to cloud my eyes. I walked out of the office and began to follow John.
