We are now on the boat off to Paris. I am sitting in the middle of the two lads. Sherlock was staring at the sea while John was reading the newspaper.

"So, why Paris?" John asked.

"Peaches." Sherlock answered. "Outside the city at Montroy, there's a gypsy camp famous for its dried fruit, especially peaches. Sherlock said as he grabbed a smaller pouch inside Madam Simza's bag.

"There we shall find, our fortune teller. And we'll return her bag." Sherlock finished. Then, John went to get something from the bag and we saw the bloody towel of Irene. Sherlock got the towel from John's hand and he stood near the railings with a heavy heart.

"She died." I said softly to John.

"From what?"

"Tuberculosis. Moriarty was the one who gave that to Sherlock."

"It's not really her death, is it?"

"Knowing them, she was trying to quit from him, and drugged her until she fell ill." Sherlock looked back at us and threw the towel at the sea. He sat back again in his chair. I held his hand in mine and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

As soon as we arrived at the port, John grabbed us a carriage. We all rode until we reached the gypsy camp. When we arrived, I saw Sherlock, whose eyes were closed and fingers at his forehead.

"Wake up. We're here." John told Sherlock.

"Brace yourself, we're about to be violated."

"Don't be so cynical." John said and he began asking about Madam Simza. Then, the three of us were escorted down the carriage. Sherlock held my hand and brought me closer to him. They began to take John's coat, but taking his scarf from Mary may have triggered him, to punch the guy, who took his scarf. The music of the violin was stopped and the people were looking at John. I saw John look at Sherlock but he only laughed.

"Do help your brother." I whispered to Sherlock as I elbowed his arm. Then, Sherlock began speaking French. Just then, we saw a woman walking, holding the bag that we brought. Sherlock and I looked behind.

"You hungry?" Madam Simza asked.

"Famished." Sherlock replied. Then, Sherlock led me with him as we followed Simza in her tent. We sat on the floor and we were given plates of somewhat a goulash. The three of us began eating.

"Madam, this is a glorious hedgehog goulash. I can't remember ever having had better." Sherlock said. I widened my eyes and I looked at John and saw the grimace on his face. The two of us stopped eating and I placed my plate beside John's.

"Do tell me... When was the last time you had a hedgehog goulash?" John asked.

"I told you, Watson, I can't remember." Sherlock said.

"Perhaps you repressed it." John said. Sherlock giggled.

"That's where we differ, unlike you, I repress nothing."

"Boys, stop it." I said. John giggled.

"Perfectly normal." John told Sherlock.

"How dare you be rude to this woman who's invited us into her tent. Offered us hedgehog." Sherlock said.

"Says the man who throws women from trains." John argued and I chuckled trying to suppress the sound, but failing miserably. Earning a glare from Sherlock.

"Who are you three?" Simza asked.

"Concerned citizens." Sherlock said.

"Why did someone try to kill me?"

"Your brother has become involved with a very dangerous man, who clearly believes that Rene has told you something you shouldn't know." John said.

"I don't know anything. I've been looking for him for over a year. That was why I was in London. It's the last place anyone has seen him." She said.

"It's clear that your brother loves you... So he would never send you a message that would put you in harm's way..." Sherlock said while showing the letter he retrieved from Irene. "Any information therefore would be by default...Unintentional."

"Has he sent you anything else?" John asked.

"Just a few drawings."

"Let's just see what they have to tell us." Sherlock said making her retrieve the drawings. Passing the drawing to her right-hand man and Sherlock.

"Unusual choice of paper, thicker gauge designed for a printing press." Sherlock said.

"It's the same stock as the letter." John said. I grabbed the drawing of a lighthouse and thought about what kind of plan would my father have in this place. "They smell musty. Must've been stored somewhere cold... and damp. What's that blood?" I looked at Sherlock and saw him licked the red on the paper and smelled.

"Wine... So, a wine cellar is located near a printing press. That should narrow it down." Sherlock looked at Simza.

"There's a wine cellar used by the anarchist group. Rene was close to their leader."

"Claude Ravache." I said now realizing what my father wanted. Sherlock and John looked at me.

"A bomb maker."

"I sampled some of his work last week."

"I was a part of the movement. So was Rene, until it became too extreme for us. Ravache knows me. If my brother's back there, he will see us." Just then, the right-hand man went out. Simza opened a bottle and drank from it. Sherlock went near us and whispered.

"Whatever you do, don't let these Gypsies make you drink." He said while reaching out to drink from the bottle.

"You dance?" Simza asked. I looked at John and he was smiling at her.

"For God's sake... Don't dance, it could be the death of you." Sherlock warned. Finishing the content of the bottle. Simza and John made their way outside for a dance.

"You know what happens when you dance." Sherlock warned again. I stood at the entrance of the tent and looked at John who was dancing along with the group. I laughed at his dance moves and looked back and saw Sherlock making his shoulders dance as well.

"God, these children." I laughed. While looking at John, I felt Sherlock went behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I lay his chin on my shoulder and heard him sigh as I rested my hands on his arms.

"This might be the last night that I would enjoy without thinking of the worst." I said.

"Darling, we can still enjoy the following nights." Sherlock said as he turned me to him.

"I doubt I could enjoy the following nights, knowing that we're slowly unveiling my father's game."

"My darling, rest assured that I will be here beside you."

"I know my father. He will do anything in his power to have me back on his side. I don't want to be with him, I only wanted to be with you, Sherlock."

"Neither am I, my darling. I want you to be by my side. Never leave me."

"You do the same for me."

"I will, darling." He slowly leaned in. Our lips touched, finally. I held his clothes in my hand while he pulled me closer to him. He deepened the kiss trying to close the small gap that we have. I broke the kiss because I lacked oxygen.

"Why don't we rest on our tent? We have a long day ahead of us." Sherlock suggested and I nodded.

"Yes, please." He led me to our tent and I already saw a sleeping mat on the ground.

"I'll be in the middle so when Watson joins us to sleep, he'll be beside me." He said protectively and I giggled at him. He lay on the bed and he opened his arms for me.

"I will." I said as lay beside him, my back facing him. He wrapped his arms around me and he kissed my shoulder as he became the big spoon.

"Sleep well, my darling. I will be here beside you."

"Thank you, Sherlock."

"You're welcome, my darling."
