It's already Saturday. Nathan is spending the weekend with me at the dorm since Hannah went to spend the weekend with her boyfriend, which she met through a dating app. Nathan was protective of her since she met this guy online. But, Hannah assured him that she'll be careful. Currently, we're watching Friends on the TV while cuddling when we hear a knock on the door. I stood and opened the door. Which wasn't a good idea.

"Y/N, my baby! How are you!?" My mother excitedly asked and hugged me immediately. 

"How are you, princess?" I heard Dad ask as he hugged me too. 

"Mom, Dad!" I squealed and I heard a loud thud in the living room.

"Honey, what's that?" Mom asked as she tried to peek into the living room, but I blocked her view.

"Can you guys wait here for a while?" I asked without letting them answer and closed the door in their face. I immediately went to the living room, I saw Nathan panicking and pacing.

"What do we do?!" I asked silently.

"Well, I don't know! I--I don't know what to think!" He shouts in his whisper tone.

"What if we tell them?" I asked.

"What?! You want your dad to kill me?!" 

"No, they're pretty chill, I think." 

"You think?!" 

"Maybe. When I introduced my ex to them, they were pretty chill. Dad threatened my ex and that's all. They were happy as long as I'm happy." 

"But your ex was two years older than you, not 26 years older than you."

"We'll be fine." I said as I held his hand. He looked at our hand and sighed deeply. 

"I guess it's now or never." He said and I peck his lips.

"Thank you." I said. Just then, I went back to the door and open. 

"Mom, Dad, I'm sorry. I have a guest and we didn't expect you'll come." I said as I went to the side letting them come inside.

"Oh. Who's your guest?" Mom asked as they walked inside. 

"Oh! Mr. Gardner, how are you?" I heard Dad ask as he and Nathan shake hands. Nathan nervously shakes hands with Dad.

"I'm good, Mr. Y/L/N. How about you?" Nathan asked as Mom and Dad sat on the couch.

"We're fine." Dad asked. I went near Nathan and we nervously looked at each other.

"So, what's your agenda for a visit here in Y/N's dorm, Mr. Gardner? Is there something wrong with Y/N in school?" Mom asked.

"Oh no, Mrs. Y/L/N. Y/N's doing a perfect job in school." Nathan said and we both smiled.

"Then, what is it?" Dad asked. Nathan looked at me and signed me to tell them. I closed my eyes and sighed heavily. 

"Mom, Dad, I can explain." I began and my parents looked at me. The pressure's on me since all eyes are on me.

"Mom, Dad, I--I'm dating someone right now." I said.

"Was it Neil (the ex)?" Dad asked.

"No, we broke up two years ago." I said.

"What?! And you just tell us now?! Where's that guy?! I'm gonna---"

"Honey..." Mom calmed Dad. "It's already done and it looks like your daughter has moved on from him." 

"Good! You don't deserve the pain that damn asshole gave you." Dad said.
