~NATHAN GARDNER'S IMAGINES
*Y/N
It's the first day of being a Senior in High School. I am not excited since I wouldn't say I like school, but I got high grades, which is not a problem. As I walked down the hallway and into my locker, I put out my notebook and closed the locker door again.
"Miss Y/L/N." I heard a man's voice behind me. I looked behind and saw Principal Gardner. God! I can see him again for this whole school year. I missed looking at his face during summer break because God knows what this man can do to me.
"Principal Gardner." I said.
"Do you have a break time today?"
"Yes, in between 3rd class and 4th class. Why sir?" I asked.
"I need you to come to my office and discuss your plans for the school year since you're the elected President of the student body."
"Okay." I said as I smiled big at him. Perfect reason to see him again and up close.
"Great! I'll see you soon." He winked before he walked out. I gasped softly as the wink affected me. I can't wait to meet him later. When he was out of sight, I began walking to my first class and saw my best friend/Vice-President, Hannah.
"Hey, bestie!" She said as we both entered the room.
"Hey! How's summer vacation?" I asked her as we both took a seat beside each other.
"It was fun! Me and Jared went on a lot of dates, you know." She said while smirking. I chuckled at her. "But how's daydreaming to Mr. you-know-who?" She knows about my interest with Mr. Gardner and I only rolled my eyes at her.
"Speaking of him," I went near her and whispered. "He asked me to come to his office later on my break time."
"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you!"
"Girl, it's only for the project of our student council." I said.
"But what if you know, your imagination came through."
"Let's not jump to conclusion." I said and we saw Ms. Johansson walk in.
~AFTER 3RD CLASS~
"I'll see you later at fourth class." I said to Hannah.
"Go! Have fun!" She said as she winked at me. I chuckled at her as I went out of the room and into Principal Gardner's office. When I reached his door, I knocked and heard him say 'Come in'. I opened the door and peeked my head.
"Miss Y/L/N, come inside." He stood and walked to the door. I walked in and he closed the door behind me as I took a seat in front of his desk. He then sat on his table and we were very near each other. I tried distracting myself in my notes about the plans.
"So, have you and your team discussed the plans for your school year since your seniors."
"Well, we wanted to have a back-to-school party and prom."
"Back to school party?" He asked in curiously.
"We're still not sure about that, we just discussed it and are not yet being finalized if we're still going to do it or not." I said as I looked up at him.
"Well, I don't think you're ready for that kind of party as early as school starts. Your prom is okay with me. But I have a proposal for you." He said and I only nodded, not trusting my voice to speak because of the nervousness that I was feeling.
"It has been far too long since this happened and I wanted to stop this before it got worse but I can't hold on anymore. Miss Y/L/N, I have this kind of attraction towards you. I know that this is wrong. Principal falling in love with his student, with a huge age gap, but I don't care about it."
I felt my chest explode with a lot of emotions. My mind couldn't process what I heard.
"E-excuse me?"
"Do I have to repeat it?" He asked as he sat beside me, pulling the chair near me.
"No. I--I'm--I guess I'm kinda shocked if you haven't noticed yet." I said as I nervously looked around.
"Do you want me to stop?" He asked with sadness in his tone.
"No!!" I shockingly said. But then, I widen my eyes at my tone. He was also shocked at what I said. "I mean--*cough* I just didn't expect any of this to happen. I thought it would only happen in my imagination." I whispered the last sentence unfortunately, he heard everything and I saw him smirked.
"So, you're imagining us being together like I do?" He smirked. God! If I wasn't embarrassed right now, I would wipe that smug smile away from his lips.
"Hey, who wouldn't?! Give me a little break from embarrassment." I said, blushing.
"When did you start noticing about me?" He asked.
"When I transferred here, two years ago." I said. "How about you?"
"Since you came here two years ago."
"What? We both had our love at first sight two years ago. Then, kept hiding it until now." I said.
"Yes. If you want, we can keep this under the radar. I wouldn't want to harm you since it's your senior year."
"I would like that too. I don't want you to lose your job all because of me."
"If I lose this job, I would be ecstatic. I get to be with you."
"Don't! Don't lose your job, please."
"Fine. That is only the reason why I wanted you to come here." He said. "And, I wanted us to be official by going on a dinner date. I have this place in mind that I wanted to bring you there. It's very private and cozy." He said.
"Okay then. Does tonight at 7 sound good?"
"That's perfect. I just need your number for me to pick you up at the dorm."
"Okay." He gave me his phone and I entered my number, making me call my number. As soon as we heard my phone rang, I ended the call and I gave him back his phone. I went to save his number on my phone, but he snatched my phone and began typing.
"What are you doing, Mr. Gardner?" I asked him.
"Nathan. Call me Nathan when it's just us." He said as he gave back the phone. I looked at it and saw that he entered a nickname on his contact. Boyfriend<3
He showed me his phone and I saw that he already saved my number with a name, Girlfriend<3. I smiled big and I looked at him.
"You're so beautiful when you smile like that." He complimented. I smiled and blushed hard.
"Thank you. But, I have to go, I have another class to attend." I said as I stood. He stood and walked me to his door, but before he opened it, he held my chin and I looked at him.
"I'll see you later, honey." He kissed my cheek and I smiled big at him.
"I'll see you later. Bye." I said as I opened the door.
"Bye."
