THE FORBIDDEN LOVE 16

It's been an amazing couple of months. I'm finally back in San Francisco. Nathan asked me to move in with him. I told Nathan that I had to focus on planning our wedding before he hired me at his school. I am going to replace Miss Gwyneth's work since she tried making a move to Nathan and he wasn't infatuated with her antics, so he fired her and since she was out, Nathan tried to replace her work since she was fired in the middle of the school year. Nathan didn't hire anybody, knowing that he wanted to give the position to me. And I accepted it.

Currently, I am at Nathan's office at the school, we were planning for the wedding when we heard a knock on his door.

"Come in." Nathan said. The door opened and we saw Mark, along with Ms. Johansson, Mr. Evans, Mr. Renner, and Mr. Hemsworth come with him. They were shocked when they saw me with Nathan.

"Oh hey Y/N. Welcome back!" Mark said.

"Thank you." I said.

"Y/N? Is that you already?" Mr. Evans asked.

"Yes, Mr. Evans. It's me." I said.

"Are you going to be the next English class?" Ms. Johansson asked.

"Yes, I am. Nathan hired me." I said. 

"Nathan? So, you guys are on the first name basis already?" Mr. Renner asked.

"Yes, we're far beyond that." Nathan said as we smiled at each other. 

"Oh, this is fun." Mark said and the three of us laughed.

"Fun what?" Mr. Hemsworth asked.

"Well, since you guys are already here, I have an announcement to make." Nathan said as he sat on his chair properly.

"What is it, bro?" Mr. Evans asked. Nathan looked at me asking me with his stare. I nodded my head at him and smiled.

"I'm getting married." Nathan proudly said as he smirked. I saw them widen their eyes. I saw Mark stand and put his hands on his hair with a shocked yet excited expression.

"Oh my God! Congratulations to you both!" Mark said. "Finally!" 

"It is finally, it was the perfect time to ask." Nathan told Mark. 

"Congratulations, Nate! Who's the lucky girl?" Mr. Hemsworth asked.

"This girl right here." Nathan looked at me and we both smiled. I heard Mark laugh. We looked at their reaction and we laughed as well.

"You owed me five bucks." Mark said as he went up to Nathan, who pulled out five bucks from his wallet and grudgingly gave Mark.

"Y/N?!" They asked.

"Yes, I am." I said as I showed my engagement ring to them.

"But, how? You're younger than him. No offense man." Mr. Renner said.

"None taken. But I will explain on behalf of her." Nathan said. "I fell in love with her ever since she was transferred here. We both did. But we kept those feelings for two years until she became the President of the student body when she was in her senior year, she was already 18 at the time I asked her. Since then, we kept a low profile of dating while she's here at my school." Nathan explained while holding my hand, which brought him comfort.

"Until I went to College at UCLA, we kept a low profile. Remember when Nathan was always on leave whenever it was your examination term?" I asked them, then they nodded their head. "He flew to LA to help me during my examination term. Which I appreciated." I said and I heard Nathan chuckle. 

"Of course, for you." He said as he kissed my hand. 

"Then, after her graduation, I proposed to her, which was a couple of months ago."

"What was your parent's reaction when they heard that you were dating your principal?" Ms. Johansson asked, now they're too indulgent to our story. I chuckled and I looked at Nathan as I squeezed his hand.

"They were very supportive since my Mother and Father started their relationship like how me and Nathan first started." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

"That's so cool!" Mr. Hemsworth said.

"You guys kept it on a very low profile, that's why we haven't got any clue." Mr. Renner said.

"Yes, I wanted to keep it very lowkey since I don't want Nathan to lose his job." I said.

"That's mainly the reason, but I endured all those five years of keeping us quiet. But for you, I will." Nathan said and he kissed my cheek.

"Oh, thank you, my love." I said and he winked at me. 

"So, if you're getting married to our friend, you should call us by our first names as well." Ms. Johansson said. 

"And you're not a student here anymore, so a friend of Nathan, or as I would say a fiancée of Nathan, is our friend as well." Mr. Hemsworth said.

"Thank you so much, guys." I said. "I highly appreciate that you would accept me and Nathan."

"You're welcome." Mr. Evans said.

"Finally! I have a girl best friend! I'm so sick with these testosterones running around our circle of friends." Ms. Johansson said. Then we all laughed.

~LUNCH BREAK~

Nathan and I are eating lunch together at his office. While eating, we were browsing his laptop since we'd been focused on planning our wedding.

"What do you think of this plan?" I asked him.

"Love, why would you ask me? I should be the one asking you that question." 

"It's your wedding too. I'm not the only one getting married. I wanted you to enjoy our plans when we got married." 

"Love, I will enjoy every moment of our wedding. All I want is for us to say our I do's and I'll seal the deal with the kiss." He said and he pecked my lips.

"That I'm sure we'll enjoy. But I wanted you to incorporate your dream wedding here at the plan." I said.

"Love, that plan is already my dream wedding with you. It's enough for me." He said. I nodded my head, trying to avoid the argument since I won't win against him. 

"To be honest, I'm excited for this day to come." I said and he smiled big.

"Me too. I can't wait for you to be my wife and finally build a family with you." 

"Me too. I love you so much." 

"I love you more, honey." He leaned to place his lips on mine, we smiled at the kiss and the feeling of excitement was already creeping into us.
