~INTRAMURALS~

It's the Intramurals week. Today is the first day and we're currently at the football field where we'll start the traditional lighting of the torch. We have Ms. Johansson and Mr. Evans host for this ceremony. All students are divided into four groups. Team Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. Me and Hannah got separated. She's in Team Green while I'm in Team Red.

"May I request all the team leaders and team captains of each team?" Mr. Evans announced through the podium. "Also this event wouldn't be possible without our principal, Mr. Nathan Gardner." I walked in the middle of the field, as I was the team leader, along with my team captain, Harry. All teams were lined up beside the podium. We saw the big torch at the other end of the line and I saw Nathan stand beside me. 

"Mr. Gardner, kindly please do the honors of lighting each of the torches held by our team leaders. Lastly, kindly light the cauldron of light for our tradition of bringing light and guiding us through the whole journey of our Intramurals." Ms. Johansson said. My officers in charge gave each and everyone torch for Nathan to light. Jake lights Nathan's torch. He went in front of me and lit my torch. I smiled at him and he did the same. 

After he lit everyone's torches, he made his way to the cauldron and lit it. After that, a photo opp happened. Nathan went beside me. I switch hold with the torch so that the flame won't go near him. After that, our torches were got by the officers and we took another photo. Everyone compressed and I felt Nathan held my waist from behind. We both looked at each other and smiled. We looked in front and saw Ali, my photography officer, with a camera pointing at us.

~AFTER A WHILE~

The games of football and volleyball are starting at the same time. I kept walking back and forth to the gymnasium and the field for my team. Both of my teams are playing. As I arrived at my football team, I saw my team captain/quarterback call me. I went near him.

"Y/N, we need refills for our drink."

"Okay, I'll coordinate with that." I said. Just then, I got my walkie-talkie and called out Sharlene.

"Radio 9, come in. This is Alpha."

"Alpha, you're loud and clear." I heard Sharlene's voice.

"Shar, I need refills of drinks for our football team."

"Copy that, Alpha. The boys and I are coming."

"Alpha out." I looked at the players while I waited for the water refill. I saw Nathan behind us talking with the football coach while they looked at the game. He looked at my direction and he sent a wink at me. I smiled at him and returned my attention to the game.

~AFTER GAME~

I stayed at the football field since Nathan texted me to stay and stopped walking around since he was worried that I might get sick with all the nonstop walking and working as the President and the team leader at the same time. When our team won, the players took a photo along with me.

When I reached the bleachers, I got my water bottle with me when I felt a tap on my shoulders. I looked behind me and saw James with a bouquet in hand.

We heard screams from a lot of people, especially his friends. James is one of the heartthrobs here in school. He was also the team captain and the quarterback of team Yellow, which was the opponent of Harry. I was shocked and looked at Nathan. He was sending death glares at James. Then, I saw Hannah go to Nathan and see him trying to talk to Hannah.

"James, what is this?" I asked.

"I wanted to give this to you." He said as he gave the bouquet to me. I held the bouquet unsure of what to do.

"Um...thanks?" I said unsure of what was happening.

"See you soon." He said as he and his cheery teammates left the field. Just then, I saw Hannah going near me.

"You need help?" She asked and I only nodded my head as I hurriedly passed the flowers to her.

"Is he mad?" I asked as we began walking, away from the staring crowd.

"He's just jealous. But, I told him about James, so don't worry."

"Girl, how can I?! I saw his looks towards him."

"He'll be fine if you talk to him." She said as she stopped in front of me. "Meet him in his office." She winked and left me. She looked at my back and nodded. I looked behind me and saw it was Nathan.

I looked ahead and walked to his office. I held my water bottle nervously and I sighed as I reached his door. Fortunately, it's unlocked. I opened the door and left it open, knowing that he was behind me. I placed my water bottle in the chair and I sat on the couch. I heard him enter and he locked the door.

"I can explain---"

"No, I know." He cut me off. He walked near me and held my cheek in his hand as he sighed.

"Fuck! I wanted to go and punch him a while ago. But I couldn't." He said as I leaned more into his touch.

"It's only you. I love you, only you. I swear." I said as I held his torso in my hands.

"I know, and I love you too." He went near me and gave me a long and passionate kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him much closer.

"Promise me you'll stay away from him." I said as I broke the kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist much tighter.

"What made you say that?"

"Nathan, you're still the Principal of this school. Don't try to make an excuse for him to come meet you here." Just then, he groaned annoyingly.

"No, I wouldn't do that."

"I know you, so stop before you expose us."

"Fine."

"Thank you." I said and hugged him. We were in our moment when we heard my radio.

"Alpha, this is Radio 2. Come in." It was Hannah.

"This is Alpha, go ahead." I answered as I broke our hug.

"Alpha, we need you here at the gymnasium. Your team won and they need a photo with you." Hannah said and I groaned.

"Roger that. Coming." I ended and I sighed tiredly.

"I'm so done being the leader." I said and he laughed.

"You're doing so well, my love. Go ahead, I'll follow." He kissed my forehead and I left his office and into the gymnasium.
