Thomas and I were friends ever since we were little. Our parents are closest of friends which makes us friends as well. During the earlier years of us being friends, I find Thomas being too weird. He likes to talk on the wall, smiling at himself, laughing at himself and he acts like he can see things. 

~AGE: 7~

"Thomas, are you going home?" I asked Thomas as we walked out from our school gate.

"Nope, Milo wanted me to go somewhere." 

"Thomas, here you are again with your imaginary friends. How many times do I have to say it to you that they're not real!" 

"No! They're real, Y/N! I can see them and I can talk to them."

"Then fine!" I said as I walked away.

"Where you going, Y/N?"

"I wanna go home!" I said as I shouted at him never looking at him.

~THE FOLLOWING MORNING~

"Y/N! My friends are all gone!" Thomas said as he ran through the park.

"I am here." I said curiously. "I'm your friend." 

"No! Milo, Penny, Harrison, and Julia are gone! They said their goodbyes to me awhile ago!" He said and that made him feel so sad and cried.

"Don't cry, Thomas. Oh, don't cry." I said and I hugged him. I felt him hugged me back and sobbed quietly.

"They're not coming back." Thomas said depressingly.

"I'm sorry, Thomas."

~FAST FORWARD~

"Hi, honey!" I heard Thomas' voice as he walked through the door. 

"Hi, Thomas!" I heard Anne said as they walked near each other and kissed. I rolled my eyes and silently barf. 

*THIRD PERSON POV

As soon as the four spirits saw Y/N's reaction, Penny and Julia were holding each other and they were pitying the young girl, Y/N.

"Awe, I pity Y/N. Thomas deserved Y/N than that girl, Anne." Penny said.

"I know right, why can't he asked to date Y/N instead!?" Julia said.

"Thomas doesn't want to lose anymore that is close to him. We gave him that kind of fear, remember?" Milo said.

"He has a point. It's better for them to stay friends than to take the risk and lose her." Harrison agreed to Milo.

"But Y/N has feelings for Thomas as well. Why not take the risk and be together?" Julia asked.

"Because he was afraid of what if they didn't worked out like the way it's suppose to be?" Milo asked. "Huh? See!" 

"I just hope Thomas is making the right decision. I just want him to get hurt at the end." Penny said.

"I thought we're here to have some break from having a job?" Y/N said.
