*Y/N'S POV

It was afternoon, and I spent time with Lauren right after the judge and her catch-up. It was about to be dinner time when Hank called us to eat out, just the three of us. When we reached the diner, we ordered our dinner and we ate all together.

"So, Lauren. How's today with Y/N?" Hank asked his daughter.

"It was fun! I never had so much fun ever."

"Thank you, Lauren." I said.

"Can we do it again tomorrow?" Lauren asked me and I chuckled at her.

"Of course, sweetie. If you want I can show you around town tomorrow, while your dad is working tomorrow." I said as I looked at Hank.

"Yep, baby. I'm going to work with Grandpa tomorrow, and Y/N will be with you." Hank said.

"That's fine, dad."

"She's having great time with you." Hank said.

"I know right. And I am enjoying my time with her. But after tomorrow, I have to go back to work." I said.

"I can manage with Lauren." Hank said.

The days with Lauren and I playing was so fun. I never thought that Lauren could be this close to me. She kept telling me that even her own mom couldn't do this much fun with her. She would like to stay in Carlinville for a very long time, which I laughed and told her that it was her dad's decision. Currently, I am at my home. On my tables with a lot of files scattered, working on a new case when I heard my phone rang and I answered without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello! Y/N speaking, how can I help you?"

"You're very formal to me now, aren't you?" I heard Hank on the call. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Hank, indeed.

"Oh my gosh! Hank, I didn't saw it was you who called. I thought it was just my client calling again."

"You still up?"

"Yeah, I'm currently working on a new case. Why'd you ask?"

"Let's get ice cream."

"What?"

"Hi Miss Y/N!" I heard Lauren's voice in the background. "Me and daddy are in front of your house."

"Wait, what?" I stand and went near my window. I slide the curtain and saw Hank's car. I looked at the time and saw it was 9PM.

"So, are you coming?" Hank asked as he put his car window down and looked at me.

"Alright. But it's your treat."

"Sure, no problem."

~AT THE ICE CREAM SHOP~

"So, what made you and your dad go for an ice cream today?" I asked Lauren.

"Grandpa and I should be out for ice cream, but daddy said it should be me and him instead." Lauren said as she licks her ice cream.

"What happened to judge?" I asked Hank.

"I'll explain it to you." Hank said and I nodded at him.

"So Lauren, what are your likes, dislikes, and your future work for you? Lawyers are most popular these days." Hank asked.

"Race car driver. Cause I like to be fast." Lauren said and that made me giggled at her reaction. Just then, we saw Hank look around. "You're thinking, aren't you?"

"Yeah, and it's a bad decision. But, it'd be fun." Hank said and I rolled my eyes. After eating ice cream, Hank and Lauren pleaded to me for Lauren to drive in her father's lap, while I sat in front with them. I let them have their fun, as long as it won't put us on harm. Lauren and Hank are having fun with their driving until, Lauren asked a touchy question to Hank.

"When are you and mommy divorcing?" Lauren asked.

"It's processing, like what I've told you, baby." Hank said.

"I like having Miss Y/N as my new mommy." Lauren admitted and I smiled at her. I looked at Hank and saw him smirk and sent me a wink.

"I'm not going to replace your mommy, honey." I told Lauren.

"What do you mean? You and daddy will get together and I want to call you mommy, too."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes--mommy." Lauren giggled and I felt my heart jumped in gladness.

"Why don't you sit at the back now and I'll drive you home first?" Hank told Lauren and she nodded as she jumped at the back seat and strapped herself with the seat belt. We drove back to the Palmer's Residence. While we're driving back, I felt Hank held my hand in his. I looked back at him and saw him smiled while looking at me then back to the road.

At the house, the three of us went down the car. Lauren held my hand in hers and we both smiled. Hank went near me and Lauren and the three of us walked inside the house. We all walked inside Glen's old bedroom. I helped Lauren changed her clothes. Me and Hank tucked her in the bed.

"Good night, baby." Hank told Lauren as he gave her a kiss on the head.

"Good night, daddy."

"Good night, Lauren." I said.

"Good night, mommy." She said and I gasped softly as I put my hands on my mouth in shocked. Hank then led me out to the living room and he let me take a seat at the couch and he faced me.

"Shocked?" He asked and I nodded at him. "I do too." He admitted.

"I just can't believe that she would like me to be with you." I said.

"Me too, but I know she'll love you like I do." He kissed my forehead. I remained silent while I smiled thinking that Hank's daughter approves of me to become her dad's future girlfriend.

"Honey, talk to me." I heard Hank softly calls me as he went to caress my cheek and let me face him.

"I'm very happy that your daughter approves of me, and approves of us." I told him.

"She saw how happy I am being with you. She saw how I changed. She saw me how unhappy I am with her mom, and now that she saw how happy I am with you, that made her realize something."

"Hank, as much as I want you to be my boyfriend, I want you to finish everything with the divorce and Lisa. I don't want to be the third party of the relationship."

"Honey, you'll never be the third party."

"But in the eyes of the court, I am. Specially if your marriage hasn't been officially called off by the court."

"I understand and thank you for giving me another chance, after what I've put you through."

"Everybody deserves a chance to get better, but for godsake! Don't mess this up." I said and he chuckled as he pull me to him for a cuddle.

"I promise, I won't."
