*Y/N'S POV

~AFTER ONE WEEK~

I arrived from London and I am meeting Hank at the airport. And he says that there is a surprise waiting for me. As soon as I walked to the gate, I saw Hank waiting near the gate. When we saw each other, I went near him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you." He said.

"I missed you too." I said. "So, what's the surprise?" I asked as I broke the hug.

"Anytime now." He said. Just then we heard a shout in which Hank smiled at the voice.

"Daddy!" I widened my eyes as I saw Hank go near the owner of the voice. I turned around and saw Hank hugging his daughter.

"Oh shit." I said softly.

"How's your flight?" Hank asked his daughter.

"It was good. I missed you, Daddy."

"I missed you too, baby." Hank kissed his daughter on the head and stood as he grabbed her hand. "I would like you to meet someone."

"Oh, God." I said while panicking as I saw them walking near me. I tightly held the handle from my luggage.

"Lauren, I want you to meet someone special to me. She's Y/N Y/L/N. Y/N, I want you to meet Lauren, my daughter." Hank said. I smiled big at her and bent down on her level, as she shyly went closer near her father's leg.

"Hi Lauren, it was a pleasure to finally meet you. Your dad kept telling me stories about you, and I'm glad I get to see how beautiful you are." I said as I offered my hand to her. "I'm Y/N." I smiled sweetly at her.

"Hi. You look beautiful too." She said as she shook her hand with me. I chuckled at her as I stood and looked at Hank.

"I know she does." Hank said. "Let's go?" Hank asked Lauren and she nodded her head. Hank looked at me and I nodded my head at him. When we rode in the car, Lauren was sat in the passenger seat behind me. Hank began to drive us back to Carlinville. After a while, we were nearing Carlinville since we're already at the fields.

"Are you going to be my new mommy?" Lauren asked suddenly that shocked me. I saw Hank stopped his car at the side of the road and he looked at me and Lauren. I looked back at Lauren and I sighed softly.

"What makes you asked?" I asked.

"Well, my mom and dad are not living together, they kept fighting over things and I saw my friends dad has the same scenario as you guys." Lauren said.

"First of all, why are you friends with that kind of family?" Hank said.

"Hank, don't say that." I said softly.

"I'm sorry, let me rephrase that. Do you think me and mommy are the same as your friends' mommies and daddies?" Hank asked and that made Lauren nod her head.

"What do you feel about it, sweetie?" I asked her.

"I mean I get that daddy is not fighting anybody and he's not sad whenever I saw him. He looks calm and I think it's because of you Miss Y/N." Lauren said. Me and Hank looked at each other and we smiled. "See! You and daddy has this smile on your faces."

"You know too much, baby." Hank said to his daughter.

"Well, is she going to be my new mommy, daddy?" Lauren asked with giggles in her tone. I chuckled at her and Hank.

"She will be, soon. She doesn't say yes to daddy yet since me and your mom are having divorce being processed." Hank said as he continued driving.

"When's that happening?" Lauren asked.

"It's already happening, baby."

"Am I going to live with you, daddy?"

"Yes, you will. I won't let mommy get you away from me. You're the only one I got, except Y/N." Hank said and Lauren giggled. As soon as we arrived at the Palmer's residence, Hank and I looked at Lauren.

"Lauren, I think I should prep you before you meet grandpa Palmer. Cause he is nothing like grandpa Schneider. Grandpa Schneider is kinda--you know, nice, affable and gives you ice cream and reads to you. Grandpa Palmer doesn't do any of that. If you ask him to read, he might've throw the book at you." Hank said and I slapped his arm.

"Don't say that." I said.

"But anyways, don't worry about it. He's not evil, he's just a dirty old mummy. And he can't hurt you, cause you're special." Hank smiled at his daughter and I smiled at Lauren.

"Don't worry about grandpa Palmer, Lauren. You can maybe work your charming magic to him." I said and gave a wink at her which made her giggle. Then, we saw Judge went out of the door and went to Lauren's car door.

"Who are you?" Judge asked.

"Lauren."

"You know who I am?"

"Grandpa."

"Yeah. You're my granddaughter." Judge smiled at Lauren and she also smiled and nodded at him. Lauren opened the door and judge assisted her in going down.

"Glad to be here?" Judge asked. Lauren nodded her head. Then, judge kissed Lauren's head and they both hugged. They both went to the stairs and went inside the house. I looked at Hank with shocked on our faces.

"Woah." I said.

"I never thought he'll be this kind to her."

"I mean, don't get me wrong but judge really wants a girl in your family." I told him as he held my hand in his.

"So that's why he's so soft for you? And now to Lauren?"

"Maybe." I said. "Your mother told me that he wished that it was me you end up marrying, rather than Lisa." I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Oh maybe you do now." He leaned near me and landed a kiss on my lips which made me shocked. I felt him held my waist and my cheek as he deepened the kiss. I came back to my senses and finally letting my lips follow his lead. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers in his hair, making him moan from the sensation and the feelings we're both having.

"Hank..." I said through the kiss.

"Yes baby?" He asked as he broke the kiss and looked at me.

"I missed you." I admitted and he smiled.

"I missed you more." He said and went near me to give me a sweet and passionate kiss.
