A gavel banged as one case finished up.

"Next case please," the judge said.

The guards brought in a young woman, who struggled against their grip until she was on the platform.

(A/N Outfit, but with the TVA symbol and the same color.)

"Dabbs. Variant L1129, AKA Jamie Dabbs, is charged with, well, every violation," the judge said.

"And it took you the whole manual to figure that out, huh? Good for you," Jamie remarked sarcastically.

"How do you plead?" the judge asked.

"Not guilty," Jamie stated.

"And who is there to say the same thing?" the judge asked.

Jamie chuckled bitterly then answered, "Everyone here ought to do that. I had the right to do what I did, I didn't drastically change any timeline, I am innocent. You all are just too dumb to see that."

The judge breathed deeply, very frustrated with this woman.

"Hold her until after the next case," the judge decided then added, "Next case, please."

The guards grabbed and brought her to the side with her struggling to get out of their grips as Loki was brought in.

"Laufeyson. Variant L1130, AKA Loki Laufeyson, is charged with sequence violation 7-20-89," the judge stated.

Jamie had stopped struggling when she saw Loki, making her smirk.

"Finally someone interesting," she commented before being smacked by one of the guards.

Loki was taken back by the action, but relaxed when she just chuckled.

"How do you plead?" the judge asked, getting Loki's attention.

He chuckled then said, "Madam, a god doesn't plead. This has been a very enjoyable pantomime, but I'd like to go home now."

"Are you guilty or not guilty, sir?" the judge replied.

Loki scoffed before listing, "Guilty of being the God of Mischief? Yes. Guilty of finding all this incredibly tedious? Yes. Guilty of a crime against the Sacred Timeline? Absolutely not, you have the wrong person."

"Oh, really? And who should we have?" she wondered.

"I suspect, the Avengers. I came into possession of the Tesseract because they traveled through time, no doubt in a last-ditch effort to stave off my ascent to God King," he answered.

"That's quite an accusation," the judge pointed out.

"Oh, believe me, you can smell the cologne of two Tony Starks," Loki remarked.

Jamie giggled a bit, making the God of Mischief look at her with a small smirk before looking back at the judge.

"You speak of Time Criminals? It's they you should be after. Perhaps you could provide me with a task force and resources, and I could return and eliminate them for you," Loki requested.

"We're not here to talk about the Avengers," the judge told him.

"Oh, no?" he asked.

"No. What they did was supposed to happen. You escaping was not," she said, making him laugh.

"Right. Uh...'Not supposed to happen'? According to whom?" Loki asked.

"The Time-Keepers," the judge answered.

"Oh, the Time-Keepers. Right. Well, perhaps I should speak to these Time-Keepers, gods to gods," he suggested.

"I'm sorry, but they're quite busy," she told him.

"Oh, they are? What are they doing?" Loki asked.

"Dictating the proper flow of time," the judge answered.

"I see. Right. And then what do you do?" he continued.

"Dictate the proper flow of time according to their dictations. How do you plead?" she remarked, clearly agitated.

"Guilty...of this," Loki said.

He then attempted to use his powers, but nothing happened. Some people laughed quietly at that.

"Ah, man. That sucks," Jamie replied.

"What's going on?" the judge asked.

"Hang on. Everyone quiet," Loki replied then tried it again.

When it didn't work again, the jury just chuckled at that.

"He's trying to use his powers, ma'am," the female guard told the judge.

"Don't rush me," Loki ordered as he kept trying then exclaimed, "Damn it! Why won't it work?"

"Magic powers? They're no good in the TVA, Mr. Laufeyson. Miss Dabbs here should know," the judge said.

"I'll fix that eventually," Jamie smirked.

"The court finds you both guilty, and I sentence Mr. Laufeyson to be reset and Miss Dabbs to the TVA Correctional Facility. Next case, please!" the judge said.

'Reset'? What does that mean? What, is it bad? What does it mean?" Loki demanded as the guards grabbed him.

"That place can't hold me! I thought you morons would've figured that out by now!" Jamie shouted as the guards held her back.

"Hey! You ridiculous bureaucrats will not dictate how my story ends!" Loki yelled.

"It's not your story, Mr. Laufeyson. It never was. And Miss Dabbs, we have upgraded the security to make sure you don't escape again," the judge said, not affected by their outbursts.

"That's what you said last time!" Jamie pointed out.

"You have no idea what I'm capable of!" Loki added as the guards held him back.

"I...I think I might. Have an idea of what he's capable of. What they're both capable of," Mobius said, standing up.

"Approach the bench," the judge told him.

He obeyed as Loki and Jamie looked at him, Loki in confusion and Jamie in annoyance.

"Hi," Mobius whispered.

"If you're thinking what I think you are, it's a bad idea. And with Jamie in the mix, it's definitely a bad idea," the judge told him.

"Okay, I'm just chasing a hunch," he pointed out.

"Anything goes sideways, it's on you," she warned him.

"Okay. I feel like I'm always looking up to you. I like it. It's appropriate," Mobius pointed out, making the judge smile slightly.

Then Mobius turned to the two prisoners, still being held back by guards,

"And who are you?" Loki asked.

"That would be my goody goody, know-it-all adopted big brother," Jamie answered.
