Meanwhile, Mobius was talking with the other Lokis in their hideout, proving that people really can change and it's never too late to do so.

Loki, Jamie, and Sylvie were sitting outside the hideout.

"Mobius isn't so bad," Sylvie commented.

"Or so good. I think that's why we get along," Loki replied.

"He cares about both of you," Sylvie told them.

"He has his own ways of showing it," Jamie said.

Then the wind blew past them, making Loki and Jamie shiver a bit.

"It's cold," Loki said.

"Mmm-hmm," Sylvie and Jamie nodded.

Loki then made a blanket appear around him and Jamie, making her blush and smile.

"I could conjure one for you, if you like," Loki told Sylvie.

"Tell you what. You could conjure me a new outfit. You have no idea how uncomfortable something like this is," Sylvie said then added, "So...Mobius and his theory about..."

"Right, right. About our nexus event," Loki clarified.

"Total rubbish, right?" Sylvie wondered.

"Absolutely. Of course," Loki nodded.

"Definitely," Jamie agreed.

"I mean...I don't mean that it wasn't a nice moment. Especially for you two," Sylvie told them.

"No, it was great," Jamie replied.

"Yeah. It was really nice," Loki said.

"It just sounds like another TVA lie," Sylvie pointed out.

"A hundred percent. I mean, totally," Loki  agreed.

"Yeah," Jamie did the same.

There was a slight pause.

"I don't know how to do this," Sylvie said.

"I don't even know what we're doing," Loki shrugged.

"I don't have friends. I don't have...anyone," Sylvie admitted.

"Well...there are more important things, right?" Loki asked.

"Right?" Jamie wondered.

"Yeah. Like bringing down the TVA," Sylvie replied.

"Saving the universe, even," Loki added.

"Well, there's no need to be dramatic, but, yeah, kind of," Sylvie agreed.

Then he made a similar blanket appear around Sylvie.

"It's not very snuggly," Sylvie commented.

Loki chuckled before saying, "Okay."

"Is it a tablecloth?" Sylvie asked.

"No, it's a blanket," Loki answered.

"Oh gosh," Jamie giggled a bit.

"Thank you," Sylvie thanked.

"My pleasure," Loki responded.

(A/N Not to kill the mood or anything, but every time someone says "my pleasure", I can't help but wonder if they work at Chick-Fil-A. XD)

A comfortable silence took place again until Sylvie spoke up.

"How do I know that, in the final moments, you won't betray us?" Sylvie asked.

"Listen, Sylvie...and Jamie, I..." Loki started, sighed deeply, then explained, "I betrayed everyone who ever loved me. I betrayed my father, my brother...my home. I know what I did. And I know why I did it. And that's not who I am anymore. Okay? I won't let either of you down."

"I know you won't," Jamie smiled.

"You sure? 'Cause if we make it, and the TVA is gone, there might be a timeline for you to rule," Sylvie pointed out.

"Ah. And then I'd finally be happy. At least some part of me will be," Loki smiled, sighed, then asked, "What about the two of you? What will you do when this is all over?"

"I don't know," Sylvie answered.

"I don't know either," Jamie added.

"Same. Maybe...Maybe we could all figure it out...together," Loki suggested.

"Maybe," Sylvie shrugged.

Sylvie then left two of them alone, just cuddling under the blanket.

"Loki?" Jamie said.

"Yes?" Loki wondered.

"I know going up against this Alioth isn't going to kill us because we've faced worse. But I want you to promise me something," she replied.

"What will that be?" he wondered.

She then reached into her pocket and held a drive.

"This is the file of what happened after your death. When you see the other version of me, make her the happiest girl in the world. Like you did with me," Jamie requested, tears forming again.

He looked at the drive before gently taking it from her and putting it in his pocket.

"Jamie, if I decide to go back, I will do as you ask. But if I decide to be with you, I won't have to worry about keeping that promise," Loki said.

She looked at him as he caressed her cheek.

"Loki, even though I believe we can decide what we want to do in life, this file shows that you come back to life. Isn't that enough hope for you to go back?" she pointed out.

"It is. But knowing this you in front of me is enough as well," he told her.

They then leaned in and their lips touched. They stayed this way until they needed to breathe.

"Your brother might kill me if he saw me kissing his sister," Loki remarked.

"He kissed Renslayer's ass for a long time and I looked the other way. He can too," Jamie smirked.

They laughed a bit at that as they let their foreheads touched.

"You've meant a lot to me throughout this, Jamie. You were the only good thing about being captured by the TVA. And it was a bonus that you were a fan of mine. But I have become worried for your safety in this," Loki told her.

Jamie smiled and responded, "I appreciate your concern, Loki. Even with this power I have no memory of. But I couldn't have asked for a better adventure than with the God of Mischief, so to me, it's worth it. You are worth it."

Loki smiled and kissed her forehead before they cuddled closer together.

'I promise I will protect you with everything I have,' he told her through his thoughts.

'And I you,' she returned.

A/N Yay! Again! Couldn't wait to do this scene! But like I said, I was a bit jealous when Loki and Sylvie were that close. Just saying.
