Loki X Jamie Season 1

Chapter 48: Reunion

The Lokis made it to where the Alioth was.

"I have to say, it feels odd walking toward the gargantuan creature. Do you have a plan of action?" Classic Loki asked.

"Get inside, find its heart or brain or whatever, and then, you know, do it in," Loki told them.

"I mean..." Kid Loki started.

"Just because it's not complicated doesn't mean it's bad," Loki pointed out.

"It also doesn't mean it's good," Kid Loki replied.

The alligator growled softly.

"See? He's on board," Loki replied.

"He's praying. He thinks we're going to die," Classic Loki clarified.

Then a huge ship appeared.

"Alioth is like any animal. He'll go after the big meal first. And while he's busy with that, we can sneak around the back and..."  Loki started.

The Alioth then ate all of the sailors onboard then stripped the ship down. This freaked Loki out a bit while the others weren't affected by it that much.

"Okay. Maybe we, uh...think a bit more about this, huh?" Loki wondered nervously.

Then Kid Loki noticed something.

"Car," he informed.

"What?" Loki asked.

"Along the horizon," Classic Loki informed.

"Is that bad?" Loki wondered.

"Well, usually means cannibalistic marauders or cannibalistic pirates," Kid Loki said.

"Delightful. Now they're slowing down," Loki remarked then asked, "What are they doing?"

"Just stay on guard," Kid Loki instructed.

Jamie and Sylvie then got out of the car and Jamie and Loki saw each other.

"Jamie," he whispered then ran toward her.

"Loki," she breathed and ran to him, tears brimming her eyes.

"I don't understand. Is he a coward or was he being brave?" Classic Loki wondered.

"I'm not too sure. Come on," Kid Loki instructed and they followed.

They continued running until she leapt into his arms. She cried into his shoulder as they held each other.

"I really thought you were gone," she cried as he rubbed circles on her back.

"You can't kill me that easily, darling. I would still find a way back to you," he assured.

He then kissed the side of her head, making her smile before they parted. He then noticed Sylvie had caught up.

"Sylvie," Loki greeted.

"You're alive," Sylvie responded.

"What happened?" Loki asked.

"You okay?" Mobius asked.

"Mobius! How did you..." Loki wondered in surprise.

"We thought you could do with some backup," Mobius wondered.

Then when they noticed the other Lokis, Sylvie almost attacked them.

"Oh, no, wait, wait, wait, these are my friends. Well, they're, um...How best to put this? Us as a child, us in the future, and us as an alligator. It's best not to question it," Loki introduced.

"You throw a rock out here, you hit a Loki," Mobius commented.

"Though I'm not complaining. This is cool," Jamie smirked.

"You were right. She is intriguing," Classic Loki said, making her blush.

"So you're all after the giant cloud monster, too, then?" Sylvie asked.

"Well, we haven't decided how we're going to kill it, but..." Loki started.

"Come again? Kill it?" Sylvie questioned.

"Yes, we're gonna kill Alioth," Loki nodded.

"Oh, my God. That was your plan," Sylvie remarked.

"Yeah," Loki answered.

"And you went along with it?" Sylvie added.

"I had my doubts," Kid Loki said.

"Probably unsafe," Classic Loki added.

"Yeah. Sorry, but that's not the best idea, Loki," Jamie told him.

"All right, well, what's your plan, then?" Loki wondered.

"I think the person we're after is beyond the Void at the end of time. And if they are, that thing is just their guard dog protecting the only way in," Sylvie explained.

"Okay, so, um, how do we get past the guard dog?" Loki asked.

"We're gonna enchant it," Sylvie said, indicating to herself and Jamie, which confused Jamie.

Loki laughed and asked, "That's insane, right?"

"As insane as what? Paper-cutting a cloud to death?" Sylvie objected.

"Listen, I've been down here longer than you..." Loki started.

"We are going to enchant it," Sylvie decided.

"She's pretty confident," Mobius nodded.

"But how am I going to help you with that? I don't have that power," Jamie pointed out.

"The TVA, without Mobius knowing, managed to wipe your mind enough to where you weren't able to remember. But when I triggered your memories of your past life, I was able to see that and bring it back. It's in you, Jamie. You can access it," Sylvie explained.

Jamie looked at her hands, to which small green lightning streaks came across her palms. This was confusing to her, but she was willing to try anything to help.

Meanwhile, Renslayer interrogated B-15 about the whereabouts of Sylvie then tried to find out more of the people who created the TVA so she could warn them.
