Loki, Jamie, and Sylvie were escorted to the elevator.

"You okay?" Sylvie whispered.

Jamie shook her head as tears went down her cheeks.

"They killed Mobius in front of her. They were adopted siblings," Loki told her.

"I'm so sorry," Sylvie apologized.

Jamie nodded sadly in thanks.

"I've got them from here," Renslayer informed.

The Minutemen left and the elevator opened. They stepped in and made their way up.

"Do you remember me?" Sylvie asked.

"I do. What do you wanna say to me, Variant?" Renslayer remarked.

"What was my nexus event? Why did you bring me in?" Sylvie wondered.

"What does it matter?" Renslayer said.

"It was enough to take my life from me, lead to all of this. Must have been important. So, what was it?" Sylvie pointed out.

"I don't remember," Renslayer smirked.

"I've said this a million times, but I'm gonna say it again. You suck," Jamie snapped.

"Do I look like I care what a Time-Jumper has to say to me?" Renslayer replied.

"No, but you ought to give a damn when you killed my brother," Jamie said.

"He wasn't your brother," Renslayer stated.

"I know. I was adopted. But he was your family too. So don't you dare tell me he wasn't my brother when you weren't happy about pruning him," Jamie hissed.

Renslayer took in a sharp breath in frustration at that.

The doors opened to a foggy room. They stepped forward until they were stopped in front of three aliens on floating thrones.

"Gracious Time-Keepers, as promised, the Variants and Time-Jumper," Renslayer addressed.

"After all your struggle, at last, you've arrived before us. What do you have to say for yourselves before you meet your end, Variants?" one of the Time-Keepers asked.

"Is that the only reason you brought us here? To kill us? I've lost track of the number of times I've been killed, so go ahead. Do your worst," Loki challenged.

"You, the time-jumper, and your bravado are no threat to us, Variant," another Time-Keeper stated.

"Oh, no, I don't think you believe that. I think..." Sylvie said as he stepped forward, was brought back to her spot by Renslayer, then finished, "I think you're scared."

"No, Variant. You're nothing but a cosmic disappointment. Delete them," the first Time-Keeper commanded.

"No, I'm not done with you yet," Sylvie refused, stepping forward.

Renslayer activated the device again, but this time it didn't work. The elevator doors opened to reveal B-15 with a similar device.

"For all time. Always," B-15 declared.

She then freed the three from their devices.

"Protect the Time-Keepers!" Renslayer ordered and the fight was on.
