The Variant (still in B-15), Loki, and Jamie walked around the store.

"Enchantment is a clever trick. Cowardly, a bit amateur-ish, but clever," Loki replied.

"Almost as cowardly as working for the TVA," the Variant remarked.

"We're working with each other," Jamie objected.

The Variant scoffed and asked, "You really believe that, don't you?"

"Yeah," they nodded.

The Variant chuckled and commented, "And here I was worried that they'd found a better version of me."

Then a store employee came up to them.

"Hi, are you guys looking for the disaster shelter?" he asked.

"No," the Variant answered.

The Variant then touched him, sending the green surge through B-15 into him, making her faint. He walked away as Loki and Jamie checked on B-15.

"She's okay," Jamie assured after checking her pulse.

"Did you think I was lying the first time? Are you going to call your little friends for help?" the Variant chuckled.

"What's the matter? You too scared to meet me face-to-face? Show yourself. You know, gaining their confidence was no mean feat," Loki pointed out.

"Oh, my God. You went undercover," the Variant said.

"If you could possibly sheathe your smarm for a moment, we have an offer for you. That's why we found you," Loki replied.

"And you agree with this?" the Variant asked Jamie.

"I'm a fan of his work. That would include yours. There are some things I question, but as far as this offer, who could refuse it?" Jamie said.

The Variant looked intrigued as he turned back to Loki and urged, "Go on."

"We're going to overthrow the Time-Keepers. And, uh, cards on the table, we could use a qualified lieutenant," Loki told him.

"And I assume you mean...Me?" the Variant replied.

"What say you...Loki?" Loki asked.

"Ugh. Don't call me that. You can call me..." the Variant said, looked down at the name tag, and finished, "Randy."

"God. Now I understand why Thor found this so annoying," Loki commented.

Jamie giggled slightly at that, causing both Loki and the Variant to look at her.

"Sorry," she smiled.

"Enough with your games. I've been trying to help you. I kept them vulnerable at the Renaissance Fair for some time," Loki said.

"Oh, gosh, and that was just so nice of you. But after eight to ten seconds of consideration, the answer is no. I'm not interested in ruling the Time Variance Authority," the Variant remarked.

After talking to C-20, the TVA tried to locate the main hunter, who shuddered that both Loki, Jamie, and the Variant were gone.
