Chapter 7: Casey Doesn't Know About Fish?

Mobius and the TVA hunters looked around for them.

Loki and Jamie were then teleported to the front desk, where they found the guy who had the Tesseract.

"Hey. Hey. I know you. You're that criminal with the blue box," he whispered.

Jamie shushed him as Loki brought him down to hide.

"Ow," the man exclaimed.

"What's your name?" Loki asked.

"Casey," the man answered.

"Give me the Tesseract, or I'll gut you like a fish, Casey," Loki threatened.

"What's a fish?" Casey wondered.

Jamie shushed him again.

"What's a fish? How do you not know what a fish is?" Loki wondered in confusion.

"I've lived my entire life behind a desk," Casey pointed out.

"These guys don't get out much as you can see," Jamie told Loki.

"Well, what difference does it make?" Loki wondered.

"I wanna know exactly what I'm being threatened with before I comply," Casey replied.

"Death, Casey. Violent, painful death," Loki clarified.

"Okay, okay. I comply, I comply. I comply. Jeez!" Casey exclaimed.

Casey opened the drawer it was in.

"Um...Oh. This it?" Casey asked, getting it out.

Loki took it in relief before noticing something else in the drawer.

"What? Infinity Stones? How-How do you have these?" Loki asked as he went through them.

"Oh, We actually get a lot of those. Yeah. Some of the guys use them as paperweights. Some of 'em," Casey explained.

Loki took a good look at them before looking around the place.

"Is this the greatest power in the universe?" Loki asked.

"Not all it's cracked up to be," Jamie said, making Loki look at her for a minute.

Then the elevator dinged, making the two turn to see the hunters come their way. The female hunter attempted to swing her melt stick at them, but Loki grabbed Jamie and teleported them out.

"Oh, you almost hit me! That's so messed up," Casey exclaimed.

"Split up. Check the lower concourse," the female hunter ordered.

"I do not forgive you," Casey remarked.
