Chapter 58: Help Each Other

(A/N So, it's pretty late where I am and I'm gonna be on the road for a while tomorrow, so I thought I should post the rest of the episode now. So here you go!)

Then as Jamie landed and prepared to swing her weapon at him, Loki appeared in front of her and her weapon was near his throat, horrifying her. He calmly repeated for her to stop before she eventually dropped her sword.

"I've been where you are. I've felt what you feel. Don't ask me how I know. All I know...is I don't wanna hurt you. I don't want a throne. I just...I just want you to be okay," Loki promised.

"Loki, I don't know if I can go on with another person telling me how to live my life. It should be my choice. I thought you agreed with that too," Jamie said, tears forming in her eyes.

"Darling, you know I believe that, but if there's a way to do that without killing him, that's what I was trying to do," he said, gently wiped her tears away, and continued, "I know I can't be trusted, but if only one person could, I would hope it would be you. Because...I love you."

Jamie felt like a weight was lifted from her shoulders when hearing that. She took a shaky breath as she lightly smiled. She then went to him and gently caressed his cheek.

"I do trust you, Loki. With every part of me. You mean everything to me...because I love you too," she said.

He smiled as she brought his face closer to hers and their lips touched. The kiss lasted a while before they needed air. They parted and just held each other, breathing the other in.

But the moment was interrupted by a portal opening and they turned to look at it.

"But I'm not either of you," Sylvie said.

She then kicked them into it and they were back in the interrogation room at the TVA.

"Sylvie! Wait!" Jamie called as she and Loki tried to run for the portal.

But it closed on them, making them really worried.
