Chapter 52: FOR ALL TIME. ALWAYS.

(A/N Hey guys! Thank you for being patient with me about this. I really appreciate it. There might be slow updates since I'm out of state and I'm coming back on Thursday, but it will get done. Just a heads up.

Loki, Jamie (still hand in hand), and Sylvie walked up to the door of the castle.

"Aren't you gonna tell me not to kick the door in?" Sylvie asked.

"It never made a difference," Loki pointed out.

"Well, if either of you think it's a bad idea, I prefer you to speak your minds," Sylvie said, facing them.

"No. Nothing to say," he told her.

"Yeah. I got nothing," Jamie added.

"That'll be a first," Sylvie responded.

She turned back to the door, taking a shaky breath.

"Everything okay?" Jamie wondered.

Sylvie sniffled and answered, "Yeah. Just need a moment."

"Right," Loki nodded then added after a brief silence, "It's just, you normally..."

"Loki, shut up. I was pruned before you even existed. I have been waiting for this moment my entire life. I just need a second to get my head straight, okay?" Sylvie requested.

"Sure. Of course," Loki said as Jamie nodded.

Once she was ready, the door opened, making them ready their weapons. They cautiously went inside until someone all too familiar popped in front of them.

"Hey, y'all," Miss Minutes greeted.

"You again?" Jamie and Sylvie questioned.

"Welcome to The Citadel at the End of Time," Miss Minutes told them.

"Come on," Loki said.

She then lead them a little ways, them not letting their guards down.

"Congratulations. Y'all had an awfully long journey to get here. He's impressed," Miss Minutes informed.

"Who's impressed?" Jamie asked.

"He Who Remains," Miss Minutes answered.

"And who is he?" Loki questioned.

"He created all and he controls all. At the end, it is only He Who Remains. And he wants to offer you a deal. He's been making a few creative adjustments, and he's worked it out so we can reinsert both of y'all back into the Timeline in a way that won't disrupt things," Miss Minutes said.

"'Won't disrupt things'?" Sylvie remarked.

"Mmm-hmm. The TVA can keep doin' its vital work and y'all can live the lives you've always wanted," Miss Minutes told them.

"And what have we always wanted?" Loki asked.

"Now, don't play coy with me, mister. You know how you got into this mess," Miss Minutes responded.

"What?" Loki questioned.

"The Battle of New York, silly. You versus those self-righteous Avengers. How would you like to win? But not just there. You can kill Thanos. You want the Infinity Gauntlet? Yours. Throne of Asgard? No problem. What about you, missies? All those years being misunderstood or on the run. Desperate, alone. How would you like to wake up tomorrow with just a lifetime of happy memories? Two Lokis and the mysterious Time-Jumper in the same place. Not to mention, Little Miss Time-Jumper can become queen and rule by this Loki's side," Miss Minutes explained.

"The three of us...together on the Timeline," Loki said.

"Queen? Rule by Loki's side?" Jamie added.

"It's crazy, but he could make it work. All of it. Everything. Exactly the way you've always wanted. And you can have it all, together," Miss Minutes informed.

They looked at each other before agreeing on something.

"It's fiction," Sylvie breathed.

"We write our own destiny now," Loki declared.

"For as long as I've known you, Miss Minutes, I know all too well that something like that isn't legit," Jamie decided.

"Oh, sure it isn't. Good luck with that," Miss Minutes smirked.

Then she disappeared.

"Come on," Loki said.

Then Miss Minutes went to Renslayer and gave some more files to her for more information of who the one in charge was.
