Chapter 50: Take Care

They all then went to where the Alioth was, ready to put Jamie's and Sylvie's plan to action.

"Okay, so what's the next move?" Mobius asked.

"The TVA needs to be brought down. We don't know who created it or where they are, but that thing out there does. When it hit me earlier, I linked to it. It was brief, but I caught a glimpse of something, and I think if I can get close enough to it, I can enchant it, and it's gonna take me to whoever's behind all of this," Sylvie explained.

She then handed Loki the TemPad she swiped.

"Go and prepare a real date for your girlfriend," she told him.

Loki and Jamie looked at each other for a minute.

"I'm staying," Loki stated.

"Loki, Jamie, I don't know if this is gonna work," Sylvie pointed out.

"You and Jamie go, I go," Loki decided.

They then handed the TemPad to Mobius.

"It's happening, guys. The branch will be right out there," Kid Loki informed.

"I'll give your regards to Renslayer," Mobius told them.

"Oh, please do," Sylvie and Jamie remarked.

"You boys want a ticket out of here?" Mobius wondered.

"What? No. We're staying here," Kid Loki said.

"This is our home," Classic Loki stated.

The alligator growled in agreement.

"Are you sure? What about Alioth?" Loki reminded.

"We've survived this long. We know what we're doing. Go on," Classic Loki told him.

"Loki, you're gonna need this on your journey," Kid Loki told him, conjuring up a sword.

Loki took it and conjured up a scabbard, which he put it in.

"Good luck. I hope you find what you're looking for," Classic Loki replied.

"Looks like you got away in the end," Mobius said.

"I always do," Loki told him then asked, "What will you do at the TVA?"

"Burn it to the ground. Thanks for the spark," Mobius answered, making Loki laugh lightly, then Mobius said with a hand out to him, "Well, see you later, Loki."

But instead of shaking his hand, Loki hugged him.

"Thank you, my friend," Loki told him.

"You're my favorite," Mobius whispered to Sylvie, who smiled.

"I heard that," Loki remarked, parting from the hug.

They laughed at that. Then Mobius went to Jamie.

"I'm sorry for everything I put you through. And even though you were a pain in the ass sometimes, you were still an awesome little sister," he said.

She smiled and responded, "I forgive you. And even though you annoyed me a lot, you were still an awesome big brother."

They then hugged before he went through the portal.
