Chapter 27: Getting on the Train

Sylvie, Loki, and Jamie approached the train station, seeing people beg to get on the train.

"Well, this looks fun," Loki commented.

"Come on," Sylvie urged.

"We can't fight our way onto that train," he pointed out.

"Who said anything about fighting?" she asked.

"All your plans involve fighting," Loki remarked.

"He does have a point," Jamie agreed.

"Not this one. I'm going to enchant a guard, have him lead us through the crowd, and if anyone gives us any trouble..." Sylvie explained.

"Make him start shooting? And then what, kill every guard and hijack the train?" Loki asked.

"Whether or not there's a fight is entirely up to them," Sylvie remarked.

"We're doing this one my way," Loki decided, shape shifted him and Jamie into guard uniforms, then asked Sylvie, "How do we look?"

"Like people with a shit plan," Sylvie answered.

"For the record, this is his plan," Jamie commented.

"And it's a great plan," Loki added.

"Hmm," Sylvie hummed in disapproval.

"Just follow our lead," Loki told her as he put her hands behind her back.

They each held one of Sylvie's arms then made their way past the first guard, but the next guard wasn't as willing.

"Whoa! Hey!" the guard exclaimed.

"Taking this one to Shuroo," Loki addressed.

"Okay. And the tickets?" the guard asked.

"Orders come from the top to get her on this train," Jamie informed.

"Sir, ma'am this..." the guard started to object.

Then Sylvie enchanted the guard, making him step back, before another guard approached them.

"Everything okay?" that guard asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine. Yeah, I just remembered that headquarters radioed in their request for them this morning," the first guard said.

The other guard sighed and responded, "Okay."

"Okay," Loki and Jamie nodded.

Then they made their way inside the train.

"Since when did the guards need tickets?" Jamie commented.

"I know, right?" Loki responded.
