"Ohh! Come on Kunal! Why don't you just tell it to them!" Ritika yelled.

She was sitting on top of the table with her legs crossed and an outfit that was exposing more than half of her thighs. She had long nails and she was twirling her curls, while talking to a man who was sitting on the chair and reading a certain file.

"Please Ritz! Let's not discuss this right now!" He uninterestedly replied.

"For gods sake, Talk to me Kunal!" She yelled and banged her feet on the ground that made her successfully gain his attention.

"It's a hospital Ritz! Can you please not yell over here!" He whisper yelled.

"This is your Office, Kunal! How long do you plan on ignoring the situation." She bent down to him to get to his eye level and as a response he removes his specs and stares at her.

"Why isn't your family understanding Kunal? What if the girl they marry you to, is not a fit for being Aarav's mother!?" Ritika added in.

Kunal lowers his gaze, as this question had him worried too. His family had forced him to get married not for himself but for the sake of his son but he denied to meet any girl...His eyes kept searching for her, the one he had lawfully wedded 6 years ago.

The one who had promised him her life. The one who broke that promise and went away, leaving him empty and his son? Motherless.

"Kunal??" Ritika shouted as Kunal snapped out of his thoughts.

"Kunal! Aarav is like my son too...and I truly love him. I am genuinely scared Kunal! How can you just tell your parents that you will marry the first girl they make you meet??"

Kunal was reckless at times. When he got angry or stressed, he just said things that don't really make sense.

One year ago he Lost Avni, in a car accident. She was his wife and the love of his life, The mother of his child but fate had some other plans for her and it took her away from him. leaving him to just exist. He existed only for his son because he died with his wife that day.

After a year, his parents want him to get married because they say Aarav is just a 5 year old kid who needs a mother but he knows them very well. This is about Aarav but more about him. Kunal denied any marriage proposal without even looking at the proposals but now, he was tired and that's when he angrily told his parents that he would marry the first girl they make him meet.

Ritika was Kunal's childhood friend and she's been in love with him since then but Kunal turns a blind eye to her feelings. He was never able to reciprocate the love she showed him and soon Ritika realized that.

Even though, she was hurt she didn't want to lose this precious friendship with him and so she decided to stay with him, by his side and support him, like a great friend does.

Ritika knows, Aarav is a stubborn kid and he just doesn't accept anyone. He is very comfortable around Ritika because he as seen her since he was born but again the families do not want Ritika and Kunal to get married.

Even if this was what she deeply wanted, she knew Kunal would never go against his family nor would she. An other major reason why she never confessed her love for him was - Family.

"Dr. Kunal? Sister Ritika? (Here : Sister means Nurse) There's an emergency. A lady has been brought and she's terribly injured. All the other doctors have gone on a break." There was a hint of worry in the other man's face.

Kunal and Ritika immediately ran out of the office towards the reception. There was a girl on the stretcher , covered in blood. Kunal did not notice the girl standing beside the patient... Who was eagerly waiting for a doctor.
